"This was our first stop on our trip and it came highly recommended. We stayed in room 40 which was a bit of a hike to the restaurant and reception. The room was very quiet and the balcony and windows were spectacular. Walking up the hill to breakfast we saw plenty of entertaining wildlife including a coati family playing in the trees. The property was truly unbelievable. I should have paid closer attention to the eco part of the lodge. We prefer to stay in accommodations with air conditioning....

"The property was very unique- literally set in the rainforest! It was so lovely to sit on the patio and hear the birds, watch the hummingbirds, look at the volcano and be at peace. "Loved this property is right off the ferry. We missed our flight due to bad weather and they were able to do very late check in. Love that they offer Kayaking for free. The ocean is perfect in this location. We were able to kayak to a near by beach where we saw some monkeys. Loved the free breakfast and the pool is great. Very relaxing and safe place. Great value. We also drove to near by beaches which offers a different landscape."

"20 minutes from downtown La Fortuna. Expect to travel about 5km of rough gravel and potholes on a road where locals live. There are signs along the way to keep you on track; I would not stay here without a car. The property grounds were well kept. There were 13 bungalows in a row; not a resort as the name states (no gym,no activities, no spa, one small pool, one small restaurant, no lobby etc). Such a wonderful place to enjoy nature and unwind. Close to many points of interest for tours. Excellent restaurants and amenities. The hot springs were amazing. "Beautiful property, clean air conditioned rooms, gorgeous views! Good breakfast. The only reason I would give less than5 stars all the way was that the parking was tight and not very easy to get your luggage to the rooms. Stairs in one area and gravel. Bioluminescence tour was so cool!"
