"Expectations were low given the price point. The main areas were well maintained but the rooms were musty and there were no power outlets available to plug in anywhere near the bed. There were overseas outlets and the front desk didn't have any adapters or other solutions. The wi-fi wasn't working for most of our stay and the breakfast wasn't great. It could have been better. "

"Look, if you're just looking for a place to crash/sleep when visiting Williamsburg and aren't too picky, or a "Karen", this place will suffice. Otherwise, you may want to look elsewhere. The property overall does not match the outside façade or lobby. The room was typical hotel "meh"...nothing exceptionally good OR bad about it. The "Continental" breakfast ended up just being orange juice and coffee. But the only real, legitimate complaints I can offer are that the pool water desperately...

"Charming and tastefully decorated, immaculate. Room spacious enough. Desk staff was pleasant and helpful. Continental breakfast was basic but nice (great coffee, toast, bananas, pop tarts). Only two relatively minor issues. Water pressure in our room wasn’t great, and the window unit that provided heat was very noisy. Would definitely stay again!"

"Friendly staff and clean room. It wasn't an issue for us, but the bathroom door did not shut. That could definitely be awkward for some people. I saw some notices on the walls about strict polices that were not mentioned online, including no more than 2 people per room and no guests, but it wasn't an issue in our case since we just needed a place to crash for the night. The exterior could use some sprucing up. There was a shopping cart full of bricks and a few mattresses just chilling out front....

"when you turn on the light in the bathroom, the noise is so loud and high-pitched that you cannot use the light. You also cannot stay in the bathroom long enough to take a shower because of the insanely loud noise coming from the light. "I booked this room for a friend. She enjoyed the breakfast and the comfortable room. Mostly, however, she felt comfortable with the very friendly staff who were never too busy to answer a question or to accommodate (she uses a cane), She was traveling with her cat, which they also accommodated nicely."
