They hotel is one of the worst I've stayed at. The carpet stinks and look dirty, A/C is falling apart, curtain rod is destroyed and making it an eye sore and the cherry on top is that it smells like cigarettes and gives me constant headaches.

Is it going into or coming out of decline?

The pool is half empty with putrid water and in decrepit condition. Room towels were not clean enough had stains. All ice machines were broken and unable to log on their WiFi. Garbage left in front of 2nd floor elevator. Breakfast had meager offerings.

This place is not what is show. Lobby door would not close, leaving it open when employee goes in the back to sit. Then the pool is green, roaches on the walls, no hot water, no towel, bedding nasty. We left a day early and getting out of there.

This property was run down with very poor cleaning. The first room I was given smelled like cigarettes, dog urine, and was not clean. I asked immediately to change rooms. The attendant told me that had been a frequent issue. The next room smelt better but also appeared unclean. It looked as if they only made the bed. The bathroom shower had gel on the tub and hair in the sink. The floor was not vacuumed and had food on it. The microwave had mold on it. I was very disappointed but stuck it out because it was so late at night. Upon morning, I looked up from the bed and noticed blood on the ceiling. I immediately notified the attendant who stated she had no idea about the blood. I asked to check out early and left. I notified Expedia of the concerns and they attempted to get my refund. The hotel manager tried to say I never checked in. They tried to say I was a no-show. Thank goodness I took about 20 pictures to prove I was there and to show all of the nastiness. I will never ever go back to a Super 8 hotel again. Not only was it disgusting, but I felt unsafe. Im so unsure if I should have called the police about the suspected blood.

Pay the extra money at stay elsewhere

Good heavens. I just needed an impromptu late night place to sleep a few hours and have a shower at the end of a road trip delayed by thunderstorms. All rooms in Abilene were ridiculously high compared to normal, 200+. This one was over $100 for the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in after years of travel. No A/C anywhere in the hotel except rooms. The front desk guy was miserably hot, but still friendly. Kudos to him. He spent several minutes sorting through a stack of used key jackets to find one with the correct number on it. They reuse them, and they were worn. Yuck. The room took forever to cool down. The bed was rickety to the point I was afraid to turn over too quickly. The mattress literally tipped when I sat down. Chips and food were still on the floor from the last stay. I found no evidence of bedbugs, though, and stayed since it was after midnight and my reservation online was non refundable. Pillows were so old they should have been tossed years ago. The bedding was old, worn, and full of holes. Skimpy thin towels, no soap or shampoo, so I skipped the shower because I was afraid of the tub being dirty. I basically crashed a few hours, redressed, and left quickly. No one was at the desk when I left. I dropped my keys on the front desk and ran. Please listen to me - do not stay at this location. Sketchy people all around, nasty facility. Wish I’d taken pictures, but I just escaped as quickly as I could.

I cancelled the reservation the same night I want a refund. The outside door on the hotel was open and unsecured. The elevator on the third floor was out of order with exposed wires. The door to our room didn’t properly latch or lock. The carpet in the room was filthy. Would never recommend to anyone. Your rating on this hotel when I booked seems deceiving.

Left me scrambling !!!!!!

I pre-paid rooms and upon my crews arrival at 6:30 pm they were told by the front desk that the hotel was overbooked and my crew's 3 rooms were not available. No email, no call, nothing but "hey your rooms aren't available because we are overbooked" . I contacted the front desk and was asked why I so upset, really dude where would your attitude be if you were in my shoes. Abilene is supper tight on rooms right now due to a very large construction site north of town. There was nothing else available in town, had to drive 52 miles to book another room in Eastland. Contacted the front desk the next morning to speak with the manager, which was not available out on personal business. The front desk pulled the reservation and said 5 rooms were available but the cleaning crew had to leave early. I inquired why I was not notified, with no answer. A simple call could have avoided this and i would not have had to scramble for other accommodations at 7 pm at night. Night desk help was rude, i will not book this hotel again, dont care if i have to sleep in my car. Terrible customer service ...... :-(

First concern to mention is to Hotel.com, How can you allow hotel businesses to post & keep pictures on their sites from the past. The hotel I stayed did not resemble what was on the website. DO YOU HOTEL.COM ever visit or reach out to these businesses to hold them to some accountablity to the safety and comfort of your clients? DO YOU HOTEL.COM even read and take concern on the feedback you get from your clients. After all we do make you business. When families and other people make reservations we trust what you post on your website. We trust in the place we reserve to get the comfort and rest we need after a long trip. We rely on good service for what we pay YOU. When I entered my room , it had a musky smile. the window was open, mosquitos and flies were in the room. As I started putting my luggage in place begin to noticed the unsanitized room. There was coffee in the coffee pot. hair within the condiment for the coffee. facial hair shaving in ice bucket. food grease on end table, water dripping from the shower curtain. feces and urine stains on the commode lid. shower curtain was ripped. carpet was not vacuumed. TV was missing main power cable and no volume. I requested another room and the attendant stated there was one on 3rd fl but the elevator only had up function and no down function. I have several photos but unable to download. Send me an email to someone to send. I asked to talk to the owner/mgr and never reached out to me. Can I get some compensation/credit?
