Let me say that this was a huge disappointment. To start things off, as I entered the lobby to check in, Nautica was away from the desk and visible from about 10-15 feet away is a hallway. She asked if I was there to check in, I said yes, she then asked my name(from 10 feet away) I told her my last name to which she yelled "What!!" I then repeated it. She approached the desk and asked if I had a license?, I said yes.....you have a card? I replied yes. I was already feeling the warm feeling of regret. After the pleasant check-in process. We made our way to the room. Dark and dankness welcomed us. The room was dark and dank, Regret was in full bloom. My wife stuck her head into the bathroom to return with a horrible expression on her face. I went into the shower to see what could be the matter. I laid my eyes upon a shower that was disgusting and something I would never expect in a Truckstop, little alone a hotel chain such as Comfort Suite. It was black with mold, wet and is disrepair. The drain screen was off and upside down in the corner of the shower. We talked about staying and quickly decided against it. We grabbed all our luggage and headed down to talk to Nautica about a refund. Her attitude was much better this time, maybe because my wife was with me this time. She informed me that it was up to her manager, who would be in on Monday. We went to another hotel across the highway and I started the process of getting a refund from Expedia. Unsuccessful
