"Amazing, small but well maintained Victorian building/lodge in a pleasant area, 10/15min drive from the city. Lots of buses to get in and out of the city in front of the lodge & reasonably cheap Uber/taxi ride. Friendly and helpful staff but be aware there’s no lift being an old building, but extremely lovely and helpful staff to help you with the luggage, just ask.. We stayed at the very top (so not suitable if you’re tall), well designed, clean, great fluffy linen/bed to come to, from all days...

"Het hotel zelf had een heel goede ligging! Het interieur was in orde! We misten wel een koelkastje op de kamer. Volgens de site kon je parkeren bij het hotel voor £18 per dag, maar de plekken waren allemaal bezet waardoor we de huurauto in een dure parking hebben moeten zetten. We kregen wel 20% korting, maar dan bleef het nog duur."

"Just an incredible time at the Norton House! Just an incredible comfortable bed with six pillows. Great breakfast, lunch dinner gourmet dinner available there on site and then to be able to walk the grounds and view the sheep go up by the woods and look down at the hotel. It was very nice. The spa facilities were top-notch. The receptionist were always available and friendly. I can’t say enough about the Norton."

"Spent a week at the Malmaison. Location was fantastic. Walking distance to everything. Airport Tram stops 50 meters from the hotel. Hop On Hop Off bus stops directly out front. Room was comfortable if a bit small. Nice to have air conditioning and bathroom facilities were very nice. Breakfast was very good, though options were limited."
