"We enjoyed our stay and how original this home was. The hot tub and creek out back was so relaxing after a day of traveling. We didn’t cook while there so I can’t remark on cooking supplies and etc. I think some shelving in the large wardrobes in bedrooms would help a lot. We used the extra small table in the utility area to lay out our clothes so we didn’t have to get into luggage everyday. They had plenty of extra covers/pillows in 2nd bedroom. "This was an awful experience. The owner never communicated, never sent any information, never gave us check-in information, so we were left stranded in Ireland with no place to stay and had to scramble to find last-minute accommodations. Vrbo customer service was also terrible, as they didn't respond and offered no help. We're still awaiting a refund or any response. Avoid, avoid, avoid."

"Con and Marlene were quite accomodating and pleasant. Their hospitality was stellar and they truky made our stay wonderful. As for the farmhouse, it was so cozy and warm. It really is a Family Farmhouse deluxe! Definitely make it a point to stay here as they have both the farmhouse and a cottage option. Simply Lovely!"

"We stayed at the second property on the site, Lavender Lane Cottage, which was a lovely newly refurbished 200 year old cottage. It had three double bedrooms(one upstairs) an open plan kitchen, dining area and living area which was all minimalistic but modern and had every amenity we needed for our stay (Con even left us tea/coffee/bread and milk) We felt at home straightaway and all said we could live there. "The cottage was clean and charming. It was in an excellent location overlooking country farms and the Oceanside inlet town of Kilkee and near dramatically beautiful cliffs overlooking the Atlantic. The owners Thomas and Margaret were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. I would strongly recommend this place for an Irish vacation."
