"The hotel is in a great location. A short walk down Nanjing Road to the Bund. Lots to see in the area and nothing is really far away by taxi/Didi. The food choices for breakfast and dinner were extensive. Great gym, steam room, and pool. The staff were really helpful. If you don’t speak Mandarin then just take your time explaining what you need. My room was compact but the view was amazing, and the bed was comfortable and spacious. "

"Whilst service was generally good, the hotel is getting and looking dated and the bathroom though adequate is a little cramp. Lighting in the room is rather dim, can do with more. Location is excellent. Service is okay for a good class hotel. Did not try the restaurant outlets."

"Stayed for a couple of nights at the end of a Chinese holiday. Our room was spacious, clean and had a view of the Pudong skyscrapers, including the Pearl. Breakfast was glorious, and the pool facilities fantastic. Staff were attentive and friendly throughout, and although it's a 15 minute stroll to the nearest metro, it's a very pleasant area. "
