"The building was built in the 1950s, so that’s the style. The location is perfect, with the lake right in front of your eyes. Rooms are solid built and quiet which is hard to achieve with modern buildings. Once you shut the balcony door you can’t hear the hustle and bustle outside. Breakfast is great with a gorgeous view of the lake. If one is looking for a modern hotel this is not the recommended one. But if one is interested in history and wants to stay at the same hotel a lot of world leaders...

"This is definitely the peak of aesthetics when it comes to the ‘neo-Chinois” style. Breathtakingly beautiful down to every single detail. Even the dinnerware for buffet breakfast is gorgeous. Staff are warm and welcome. The only downside is, there’s not much of sound proof. As a top-notch luxurious hotel, they can definitely pick more expensive windows.
