"Room clean staff friendly"

"Excellent hotel. The room was spacious, comfortable and always clean. Staff were always friendly and welcoming when we were coming and going and a fantastic roof top bar is a do not miss! The hotel is conveniently located for the city centre, harbour and about a 20 minute stroll to the beach while being super quiet for sleeping at nighttime. Definitely will stay again in the future. Thank you Mariposa for making our 3 night break restful and comfortable."

"Lovely hotel, nice terrace. The pool area is small though so get there early or prepare to lie on the deck and wait for a lounger. The staff are very efficient and friendly, and there was plenty of food at the breakfast buffet. Food at the pool / terrace restaurant was also excellent."

"I would not recommend staying at this property. In my experience, it does not meet the standard of a 4 star hotel. We were initially assigned a room with a strong mold/sewage odor and extreme dampness. The walls and ceiling felt soft to the touch, and the air conditioner was leaking enough water to create a puddle on the floor. We requested a room change immediately but were told the hotel was full. After waiting four hours for a maintenance technician, they agreed the room was unacceptable,...
