Alex the Duty manager was great- showed us an alternative room in the main building and personally took care of moving luggage. Only thing that takes away from 5* was the attitude and service of some of the bar and waiting staff, breakfast seemed a bit all over the place in both getting a table and the service, young staff arguing about what time it finished and bumping into tables - some 6th form common room...

"We was quite pleased with our room at the Manor House and much better value for money. We had afternoon tea in the olive tree and the food was nice but considering it wasn’t busy the service wasn’t very good, it took a while before I was given water I had asked for and the Prosecco I was offered and accepted never arrived. We used facilities and although we enjoyed it was a shame the men’s changing rooms were out of order and the only alternative was for my husband to use the disabled toilet to...

"Francis Hotel Bath is currently undergoing some refurbishment so unfortunately there was no lift to the third floor. The hotel warned us of the on-going work before our arrival which was very much appreciated. The staff made us feel very welcome and I very much appreciated the facilities provided in the bedroom. It was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay."
