We received a very warm welcome and were greeted with smiles and friendly 'hello's'. each time we entered the hotel or passed reception on our way to the bar during our 2 night stay . I lost my Apple Watch on the course but thanks to the extraordinary assistance from the reprint at the Manor House, the shuttle bus driver and George from the golf shop we managed to get it back before it was dark. "Very nice hotel. Good service, clean rooms, nice bar and restaurant areas. Good selection of food in the restaurant and breakfast was good. Close to the railway station (5 minute walk) where you also can catch busses or a ferry boat. Walking distance to the city is manageable. "

"Excellent stay, as all Daniel thwaites brand hotels usually are... Great food, great rooms, really comfortable, great hotel layout, milk and water dispensers in the hallway, which are genius idea, really make the difference for an avid tea/coffee drinker... Spa, gym, pool facilities are fabulous, very relaxing and well kept. Staff were lovely as usual, they pick good people. Only thing I'd complain about is having to pay for parking, which I didn't expect... But it was only a fiver per night...

"We had a really nice 2 night stay, we checked in earlier as our room was ready, which was a lovely start. The hotel was beautiful, the service was excellent, the bed was very comfortable, the shower hot and powerful. We enjoyed some nice food in the atrium bar, a lovely afternoon tea in the 1853 restaurant. And some nice 6 oclock gin on the terrace - all with fantastic service. The only negative was the room was so hot it was uncomfortable, a fan was provided and was really needed. There...

"This is wonderful property very convenient to Bristol airport (so on the flight path, some flight noise in the morning). Beautiful building on a gorgeous property. Staff were friendly (well most of them) The room was nicely laid out, bed comfortable, great pillows & bedding. Breakfast was amazing! "
