I had a bad throat - we got some soup from the nearby Harris teeter, and the guy went into the kitchen and heated the soup for me. Over and above. Would stay here again. "

"Wonderful stay at The Loutrel. Perfect location just off the main drag but walking distance from everything. Room was spacious and really nice, staff friendly and professional, and the rooftop deck was AMAZING. The musician playing up there for sunset happy hour was a highlight of the trip. Will definitely stay again."

"This is truly a charming, historic, and beautiful hotel! Elegance in everything I experienced in our 1 bedroom premium suite! It felt like I was in a European apartment! You have absolutely everything you need and more! The location is perfect, King Street shopping right outside of the hotel, but tucked away in a beautiful alley where the Lowland restaurant (the hotel restaurant) is across the brick paved alley! "Accommodations were outstanding! The room was spotless, and the staff was friendly. They serve a delicious breakfast every morning, wine and cheese in the afternoon, and they turn down your bed at night and put ice in your ice bucket. We'll definitely be back!"
