"The rooms are clean and have a very nice view. The close-by beaches are great. Breakfast is pretty average, bad WIFI connection. The transport to hotel can be stressful since hotel doesn't offer shuttle transport, and local taxi drivers are crooks."

"Athena Palace is a small aparthotel, with 14 apartments on two levels, right in front of the fantastic Aegean sea, west side of Karpathos island. It is not on the main road, so you do not hear noises or traffic , only the constant sound of the waves and wind. "we had a great time and we are very pleased with the room. we stayed for more than 10 days and we enjoyed most the surrounding tranquility and the view. we spent quite a few hours relaxing at the balcony, we cooked in most of the days and at night it wasn't hot or cold, it was perfect. a tip for those who can't stand low water pressure during their bath or cooking: karpathos has this problem, and it was a common theme for complains, but no fault of the studios. leykos is nice, many taverns, two...
