"We very much enjoyed our stay at the Elgin Hotel. Our deluxe room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It also had a nice view. We loved the Victorian style of the main building where the reception, bar, lounge and library are located. All the rooms including the dining room were tastefully decorated. "Excellent service "

"Room was large and comfortable. Only drawback was the number of flights of stairs necessary to get to it. Hotel was very convenient to get to the Mall and it was on a road that transport could drive up to the front door which is often not the case with other hotels in Darjeeling."
