"This was the perfect hotel for our family vacation of hiking in the Alps. It had the perfect location on the slopes overlooking Bad Gastein down in the valley. Located east of the valley meant that it had sunlight quite a while after the shadow of Stubnerkogel had covered the village in an early sunset. "Fantastic stay. Great restaurant. I really enjoyed the breakfast and dinner options. Very popular place to have a drink. The owner is hands on and sponsors a variety of public events like blass band and other performers outside the hotel square. 2nd floor has a massive balcony patio, library, reading room, etc. There’s also the ability to rent an ev car or bike right from hotel. All guests I talked to enjoyed their stay and other locals in town have called it a hot spot for hanging out....
