"Excellent staff. Cheerful & helpful. Very comfortable beds & plenty of linens & towels. Very clean. Quiet. Only downsides were a lowered ceiling over the bed that a taller person could hit their head. Also not a fan of the non private bathing & dressing area incorporated in the bedroom. 4 1/2 stars "

The house is perfectly located on the waterfront with a view of the water in the mountains, with whales and seals swimming past. Our host took great care of us, including picking us up at the dock. There are some good local hiking, just watch out for the bears. Food and groceries are available, though limited. Everything is walkable, and there is beauty all around."
