"A great place for a budget friendly stay. Kept very clean by the owners. Road traffic noise (as is the case in most cities), can be a bit of an issue but is easily resolved by some earplugs. Quite close to a very good indoor municipal market and some excellent restaurants for eating out in the evenings. The main bus and rail hubs are close by as well, and the marina area is only a short walk away. I would be more than happy to recommend this place and hopefully will return again soon."

"We had a lovely four nights here in this older but charming hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms with a Juliette balcony to relax on. Breakfast on offer was lovely and we enjoyed the evening meals… delicious! Right across from the ferry to Tavira Island it was a perfect spot."

"Kitchen not well equipped for cooking, just warming up or cooking eggs, very few utensils and no oven. Cleaning staff friendly but not English speaking. Although Expedia stated that a hair drier available on request, we requested one and were told by the reception person that it was not available! Really disappointing, but parking very easy and location ok to walk to oldtown/ center town, although not always through sidewalks, watch the traffic and walk fast. "

"not recommend for people with mildew type allergies… It smelled really badly in the room and my clothing after I left still smelled… Bathrooms also weren’t great. Specifically the showers. The bottom floor shower had water that would pull in because it’s shared bathrooms. it just feels extra gross along with the shower head being too tall to either reach or not being easy to turn on due to pieces missing. And that includes the upstairs shower. The place needs a complete deep clean. I get it that...

"Pleasant enough stay, staff were very attentive and assistance for moving a room to help with a less abled bodied person on our trip was done without any hassle. However the signage and directions for disabled access were pretty poor. Not all lights worked in the room and TV wire was not long enough to keep the connection in tact. But we must mention the reception staff, who were top class, particularly Anna with her help when one of the party had an incident on returning to the hotel. "
