"The lodge itself is very charming — the cabins have that cozy, rustic feel and the setting along the road to Exit Glacier is beautiful. It really feels like a peaceful getaway in the woods. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by how thin the walls are. We could hear absolutely everything going on in the cabin next door, and let’s just say it was not the kind of “wilderness sounds” we were hoping for. It made it very hard to get any sleep with all the noise and excitement coming...

"If you book a room here, pay extra for the bay view. You will walk in the room and say "well, this is a little small and shabby" but then you will open the curtains and see the million dollar view and it won't matter what the room is like. The room is definitely clean though, that's important also. We enjoyed our time here. Skip the restaurant, it's overpriced and subpar."

"Right on the River, it is beautiful. Walk down and fish have a bbq and meet new friends. A true Kenai experience. I wish the bottom floor had patio doors instead of windows, but it was an amazing view. I would stay again."
