"The floors were very sandy. I just checked my credit card and I was charged $200.00 for the pet fee that I was quoted $100.00. Their dog park was full of holes and tall weeds. I asked when they were going to cut the tall weeds and 5 days later the weeds all around the hotel still hadn’t been cut. For a Marriott that place needed a lot of maintenance work inside and outside. The breakfast was okay and the clean up ladies were very nice."

"The hotel was a cute experience and definitely had a lot of amenities, although it seemed like they shoved in too many in no discernible order. With that being said, the staff was friendly and I did appreciate the sauna! I think this hotel is definitely more suitable for couples or friends traveling versus families, but it's a great little spot!"

"I went on a 3 night solo vacation to the beach. It was the perfect proximity to walk to the beach, Jeannette’s Pier, breakfast and dinner locations, and ice cream at Booty Treats. It was beautifully maintained with a great pool. The private walkway to the beach was convenient and easy to access. The staff were super helpful and accommodating. The room was comfortable and quiet. I loved that there was a Keurig and mini fridge in my room. The only thing I’d change about this place is the shower...

"Great Stay! I was a little concerned with past reviews but figured out that the bad reviews were from the previous hotel. This is a newly taken over Home 2 and what you’d expect from a great Hilton family! It is exactly what we were looking for! Beautiful Oceanfront room with a balcony, kitchenette and easy parking! Room was clean and staff was amazing! We will be back anytime we are in the Outer Banks area!"
