Cependant, le cadre est magnifique (petit déjeuner les pieds dans le sable au bord de mer, la piscine est bien nettoyée, le jardin est modeste mais bien entretenu). "The (very) big plus for Jag's Villa is the location - 5 min. drive to the airport. Otherwise the rooms are standard, clean and without any deficiencies. The property is fenced/gated. The housekeepers are very friendly and accommodating. One issue travelers should be aware of: the only accepted payment form is CA$H. (receipt may be a hagle)."

"We loved our stay at Dodo Square. Dodo was a great location as a base to travel around the north of Mauritius. Entry details were emailed to us the day before arrival. And once we arrived one of the house keepers notified the admin and our room pin was activated. The studio apartment was clean, spacious and was tastefully decorated. And in a generally new condition. It had all the appliances to cook, if we wanted to. The surrounding area was very quiet in the mornings. The only early morning...

"You get what you pay for. These are a great price for space and location. They are a little tired and there's a lack of sunbeds, but overall great value for money. Beware the overspill from the clubs nearby - outside with very loud music til 6am one morning. But that's not the property's fault. The dogs are noisy but not aggressive."

"3rd year here in 1 bed apartment for month of March. Furniture is dated but entirely functional and everything you need is provided... fans, aircon, towels, fridge, microwave, kettle, gas rings, filtered water plus sufficient cooking utensils. Bedding changed every 3/4 days and cleaning by maids efficient. Accommodation is simple and basic in a good location for those on a budget. I look forward to returning again. "
