"Northstar units are generally old. This unit was also old, but has updated appliances, which was nice. The longer dining table and two full couches were also nice to have. They do not have benches for the dining table as shown in their pictures. They only have four chairs. The unit was in the perfect location. So physically, the unit was great. However, the management was not great. The person who gave us the keys was very sarcastic. His office was a total mess. I thought I went to the wrong...

"Fantastic place; virtually brand new. Back deck with grill is nice to chill on after a long day of swimming/hiking/etc., and a good number of bedrooms to split up kids if need be. Two-car garage is a plus so you can store bikes, floaties, etc. rather than leave in car or drag inside. Good kitchen with pretty much everything you'd need from plates to spices and stuff. We did take advantage of the local "HOA" pool, and my wife used the gym there. So setting up a "base camp" of sorts worked well...

"We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It’s right on Donner Lake with a private beach and dock area and a beautiful view of the lake. The living/dining area has a tall ceiling with skylights in it so it’s very light and airy, with a nice balcony to sit out on and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the lake.
