"We came into town for a family funeral and originally had booked with another property through vrbo. That property had double booked and someone was already in the unit and they canceled on us at 9:00 at night. Coming for a funeral this was the last thing we wanted to have to worry about after driving 13 hours. We ended up coming here to echo suites and it was a perfect stay. "Very clean, spacious room, extremely comfortable bed, complimentary breakfast with many yummy options with clean tables and chairs in the lobby to sit at and coffee throughout the day are the big stars of this place. If they had real half & half for the coffee that would be even better. "

"The evening front office staff (Al) was extremely helpful in getting us settled in our room even though we had a very late check in (around 12:30 AM). He waited for us even though the front desk officially closes at midnight. The room was well lit and very clean. The amenities provided were more like a higher star rated hotel. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience for us."

"Staff did clean standard things like toilet sanitation but some things glossed over. For example the table had a sticky spot next to the lampi had to clean before I could use my work laptop on the table. Floorboard under desk had dinge marks probably from people putting their feet there. The floor had a certain dingy stickiness to it, could not walk in socks let alone barefoot. Easy to improve by increasing a deeper clean schedule where staff cleans, polish, and move furniture etc."

"The Topaz Lodge is perched above Topaz Lake with views from all the rooms. The coffee shop which is open all day for breakfast, lunch and dinner has great views and so does the steak house but check the opening days for this one. The lake is so beautiful, and the rooms are a decent size. This is not a brand-new hotel, so it is showing its age, but the room had a table and chairs, and an armchair, coffee machine, microwave and fridge.
