"The place was nice but the neighbors harassed my guest. They were complaining that there were to many cars and people on the street and ask how long were we staying. We had a college graduation gathering of around. 25 this happened both days we were there. My wife had to tell the laddies to stop. I don’t know if it was because we are people of color or they didn’t like the gatherings"

"We stayed 2 nights at the Above Grand to celebrate my Mother's 80th birthday. We were a party of 13 , with ages ranging from 13-82. We had a spectacular time and really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Property was beautiful, well appointed, and the house manager (Rachelle) was available and amazing. Highly recommend this home!"

"This was an absolutely beautiful VRBO and Lauren was great to work with. We went with a group of girls and had a great time. The house is super clean, we got to check in early, they have paddleboards and kayaks for you to use and check out was a breeze. The only downside was the kelp. There’s an area of beach where the water is about a foot deep on either side of the doc but otherwise the doc is surrounded by thick kelp. We couldn’t swim from the dock or jump off the dock due to the thick kelp...

"Our experience seems to indicate that we found the lemon rental. Though VRBO has had wonderful customer service is resolving the problem, it was very clear that the property owner and rental manager did not provide us a rentable house (construction in the back and not cleaned from the prior party renters)."

"We had the most relaxing getaway at the Lakeway Hideaway property, it was super clean, well organized and had everything we needed for our stay and more. We really enjoyed the patio, the porch, and the views. It’s located in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. We will definitely be coming back!!!"

"The cottage was in a quiet neighborhood. A very peaceful place to stay. My house was having mold remediation so I booked for 18 nights, but mini-split hvac had black mold across the bottom so I vacated 6 days early. The French doors have woven blinds you can see through so I covered the doors with a sheet at night. "

"The house was clean and tidy when we arrived with plenty of space to relax. The view from the deck is nice and the neighborhood is quiet. There is currently a home being constructed across the street, but we never noticed any noise coming from them. The rooms are bright, so I do recommend bringing something to darken the room if you have little ones that prefer a dark room. Host were very helpful and quickly replied to any questions we had. "This location is super nice. The heated pool was lovely and all the beds were comfy. There is lots of open space in the living room too to hang out. The heated pool was great in winter and I feel like this property would be lots of fun in summer. "

"The property was reviewed by some others as a nice condo but in a “sketchy” area. I found the exact opposite to be the case. The area is beautiful and convenient to downtown and all areas in Austin. The condo was extremely dated and beat up. Layers upon layers of old paint, cabinets that don’t close, worn tiles, soiled furniture. The bathroom has no window and no fan, so the room fills with shower steam quickly, and felt damp and musty. No paper towels, the cheapest Walmart towels. I was...
