Our room was comfortable, but it felt slightly cramped as it was quite full of furniture, which meant there wasn’t much space for our luggage. Overall, I would recommend staying here, but I think the staff’s experience and confidence need a little time to catch up with the high-end image the hotel is aiming to project."

"Couldn't fault this hotel at all. From the beautiful grounds, the grandeur of the building, the impeccable customer service, the delicious food, the spacious, elegant room, the clean, luxurious spa. The drinks were a tad on the pricey side, but the mid week room price including spa access was excellent value for money. Would come here again in heartbeat. "

"Typical mid-range, rural conference hotel. Archaic procedures that required you to head to the reception every single time that you wanted to use fitness facilities or pool. Correct, if not very friendly service. Overpriced, but decent restaurant (besides the pub five minutes walk away, the only dining option around here). Hotel had just reopened after holidays so Wi-Fi wasn't functioning for the first 24 hours. Blimey."
