"We stayed only one night in this tradicional japanese cottage and we don't regret the experience. In the middle of nature and close to all the temples. It was clean and comfortable. Yoshiko is the charming lady who takes care of everything and makes your stay memorable, from a lift to the station to recommendations on anything there is to do, see and eat! Of note, she speaks English and there was no problem to leave our luggage at the cottage even though we arrived before the check in time...

Walkable to the main town and bus stops for sites (eg to Chuzenji) are very close. Staff are friendly and personal touches such as dropping us to the station for the onward journey was much appreciated. "
