The Space:

There’s a delightful sense of personality throughout Flamingo Social Club. Blush walls, hand-painted murals, playful wallpaper and vintage-inspired furnishings give the home a look entirely its own. This is a place to put your feet up, play your favorite records, and enjoy a few days with your favorite people.



The home is especially suited to couples or close friends who appreciate good design and a little whimsy. The living spaces flow together naturally, while two comfortable queen bedrooms offer room to retreat. Outside, five acres of open desert and a collection of imaginative gathering spots make staying home just as appealing as exploring the area.

-Outdoor Amenities-

The outdoors at Flamingo Social Club is part desert playground, part open-air lounge. Against the home's colorful exterior, a custom pink and yellow swing set adds a little nostalgia, while loungers and a shaded daybed invite you to make an entire afternoon out of doing very little.



The six-person hot tub sits on a wooden deck beside a striking outdoor Malm fireplace. It's a favorite spot to settle in as the desert cools and the surrounding landscape takes on the colors of the evening. For a different kind of dip, the cowboy tub offers a refreshing way to cool off on warmer days or enjoy a cold plunge in winter. It remains open year-round.



There's also a covered patio for outdoor meals, a propane BBQ and a fire pit for gathering after dark. But perhaps the most unusual feature is the desert boat dock. Here, boats rest on dry land, offering a wonderfully unexpected place to recline, watch the changing sky and look up at the stars.



With five private acres and no immediate neighbors, the property gives you plenty of room to wander between these spaces, find your favorite spot and enjoy the quiet.



-Living Area-

Warm, expressive and full of character, the living room is made for slowing down together. A sculptural electric Malm fireplace anchors the space, surrounded by a woven sofa, wooden lounge chairs and a richly textured pink rug. Natural light filters through generous windows, while warm wood and terracotta tones give the room a comfortable, lived-in feel.



Put a record on the turntable, settle into the sofa with a book, or gather around the coffee table for a board game. A Bluetooth speaker lets you set the soundtrack, whether you're easing into the morning or spending an evening indoors.



The adjoining dining area features a hand-painted wavy mural in pink and terracotta, continuing the home's playful design into another place to gather.



-Kitchen and Dining-

The remodeled kitchen brings together warm wood cabinetry, open shelving, white hexagonal tile and a retro-style refrigerator. New appliances, including a gas stove, make it easy to prepare meals at home, while stocked cookware, utensils, spices and olive oil take care of the essentials.



Coffee drinkers have both a drip coffee maker and French press to choose from, along with provided coffee, sugar and creamer. A selection of teas is available, too.



Enjoy breakfast at the indoor dining table, prepare something together after a day exploring, or take dinner outside to the covered patio. With a propane BBQ nearby and the desert just beyond, eating in can easily become one of the best parts of the stay.



-Bedrooms and Bathrooms-

Flamingo Social Club accommodates up to four guests across two individually styled bedrooms, each with a queen bed.



The primary bedroom has a warm, earthy personality, with a rattan bed frame, patterned blush accent wall and soft textiles. A smart TV and dedicated desk offer a little extra flexibility, whether you want to unwind privately or catch up on work.



The second bedroom embraces a more playful retro look, with graphic wallpaper, mustard-colored bedding and inviting textures. Like the rest of the home, the space feels carefully considered, with its own distinct character.



The shared bathroom continues the color story with warm pink tile, limewashed walls, a sculptural vessel sink and round mirror. Brass fixtures and a rainfall shower complete the space, making even the everyday routines feel a little more special.



Guest Access:

The entire house and property are yours to enjoy! Please note that a few supply closets stay locked to store rental supplies.



Please note that an exterior closet around the back of the property is locked and used for supplies.

Flamingo Social Club is in Flamingo Heights, about 10 minutes from Old Town Yucca Valley. All homes in the area are on acreage, giving guests wide open space and privacy.

A personal vehicle is necessary to get around in this area - rideshare apps are not guaranteed.



Other Things to Note:

-Cowboy Tub-

The pool at Flamingo Social Club is a cowboy tub, not an in-ground pool. It stays open all year, and in winter it makes a cold plunge. Bring your own ice if you'd like the water even colder!



-House-Specific Rules-

► Please avoid using the hot tub right after it has been serviced, while chemical levels are temporarily higher.



-Pool and Hot Tub Service-

The cowboy tub and hot tub are serviced Tuesdays and Fridays, approximately between 11am and 4pm. Please note that these times are estimates and may change slightly due to our technician's busy schedule. He will not approach the house but will go directly through to the backyard.



-Pet Policy-

We welcome your dogs! There is a $100 per dog per stay fee, limit of 2 dogs maximum. Please note on your reservation how many dogs you are bringing. There is an unauthorized pet fee of $500. Please use the provided dog sheets before allowing your dogs on any furniture. Cats and other pets are not allowed.

The desert landscape is teeming with wildlife and natural beauty, offering a unique connection to nature, but it's important to be mindful of the creatures and plants that call this area home. Guests may encounter a variety of wildlife during their stay, and while direct encounters with dangerous animals like coyotes, snakes, scorpions, bobcats, mountain lions and other desert dwellers are rare, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and to keep a safe distance from these creatures when spotted. Additionally, the desert is dotted with sharp cacti and other spiky plants. For your safety, always supervise children, pets, ESAs, and service animals while outdoors. Dogs should remain on a leash at all times and be watched closely while outdoors, as they can wander into potentially unsafe situations with wildlife or plants. By booking this property, guests acknowledge the potential for wildlife encounters and assume responsibility for their safety and the safety of their group. By respecting the local environment and staying aware, you can fully enjoy the magic of the desert.
