Hidden Gold Ranch House sits on half an acre and is home to 12 mature Joshua Trees, making it a true desert oasis and a rare find in Yucca Valley. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood just minutes from Joshua Tree National Park, this private retreat offers guests the beauty of the high desert right in the backyard.

Relax in the heated saltwater pool and spa surrounded by natural desert landscaping and the iconic Joshua Trees that make this property unique. Inside, the décor blends cowboy and bohemian style. Each king bed provides comfort for restful nights, and the queen bunk bed offers extra space for family or friends.

Pool Maintenance:
To keep the pool clean and safe, our specialist maintains it on Tuesdays and Fridays between 12 PM and 2 PM, taking about 20 minutes. Thank you for your cooperation.

We had a wonderful time in this peaceful and well appointed home! Well stocked, nicely decorated and the outdoor spaces were wonderful! We really enjoyed the spa! The owners cared about the details and the guests comfort. When we had some issues with the pool heating they got right on it to make it all right. So close to Joshua Tree and the ones in the yard are huge., our little dog had a great time exploring the whole place! Thank you,great stay!

I do not normally do a review, but this property is truly exceptional for a fun weekend with family and friends. There are plenty of pool floaties and if you bring your own there is an air compressor for your use. Young grandkids brought their bikes to ride at the park. Turns out they road them all over the backyard.

Our second time at Hidden Gold. So easy and comfortable to settle in. It is in such a great location in YV… close to everything, but up toward the foothills in a quiet neighborhood of large parcels. The owners have so thoughtfully arranged and stocked the house, you won’t lack for anything. The pool and backyard were the centerpiece for us. Fun and relaxing for all. And, well, there are Joshua Trees all around the property. Very cool.

Wonderful property and a great host!

We had a wonderful time. The home is very comfortable with plenty of room to spread out. The main living area is spacious with a large couch, two comfortable recliners and much more. The large screen in the living room was excellent.The AC works very well and did not have any difficulty keeping the place amazingly comfortable even with the outside temp above 110 degrees. We only used one of the three bedrooms, but all of them are well furnished, comfortable and with a separate TV in each. Unfortunately (for us) this was a quick trip, and we did not have time to enjoy the wonderful pool (w/Spa) or the back yard, but we are certainly looking forward to enjoying them on our next trip to JTNP.The host is excellent. Very communicative with super rapid responses to all questions. The supplemental information on the area that was excellent. Most appreciated were the concise and simple check-out instructions, which included the (short) list of things to double check before leaving. We will definitely stay here again!

Excellent all around

This property is beautiful, spacious, clean, with comfortable beds you will have good night sleeps in. The pool and hot tub is the highlight of the property for its size, cleanliness, and the beautiful surrounding. Another highlight of this property is how the owner has thought of everything you could possibly need! Thank you so much Skip and Monica! I recommend closing the front wing of the round table in the kitchen as it is tilted and things slide off.

Joshua Tree NP and Palm Springs

This house was great, especially the backyard oasis. We were a group of four (two couples 60+) who spent four days alternating between hiking Joshua Tree and exploring the Palm Springs area. While it was a drive to get to each, the house was conveniently located in the middle. We loved having the hot tub to come home to every afternoon. The star gazing in the backyard was also cool. Not dark enough to see the defined Milky Way, but still amazing. We highly recommend Pappy and Harriet’s, as well as The Tiny Pony and the Snake Bite Roadhouse.

We had a wonderful week-long stay at Hidden Gold. So sorry to leave. The pictures are accurate, but they can’t tell you what a great vibe it has. The patio/pool was our go-to area, and then back inside was easy, comfortable and welcoming. On a very nice, quiet street, but close enough to town and outdoor activities. Highly recommend. Relax and unwind

The house was just as advertised - beautiful! We were in the pool most of the time and they had a blast. The house was very clean and well-stocked. Skip was responsive and all our needs were met. This is the place to go to unwind. My daughter and I were fortunate enough to hear the owl at night. Our dogs loved the yard. We will stay again!

We had a great time at this property, it felt like home as soon as you stepped through the front door. It was clean and located close to Joshua Tree National Park. The best part was the pool!!! We would highly recommend this place.

Yucca get away

Great property and well managed. Very clean and nicely updated. Host extremely response. This property lacks nothing. Our family of four were here for a Joshea Tree wedding. The location could not have been more perfect. Thanks VRBO for offering such great property’s.
