4 bedroom lovely home in Ieper

Vacation home Chapel is located in a quiet street in Boezinge, part of the famous Ypres in the Belgian Westhoek. It owes its name to the chapel that was once built by a previous owner. The house has been lovingly renovated and tastefully furnished by the friendly owners who live next door. Comfort and usability have been considered in all rooms. The living room is equipped with a leather seating area and a gas fireplace. The kitchen is spacious and equipped with all appliances. In the bathroom there is a hairdryer and you can enjoy the Italian shower. The four bedrooms are furnished with delicious box spring beds. The bathroom on the floor is shared by the two bedrooms. In the garden you can spend hours in the luxurious garden set. This part of the Westhoek is less hilly and is therefore even easier for cycling families. The city center of Ypres with its famous buildings like the Men's Gate, the Cloth Hall with the Flanders Fields Museum and the cozy squares is only a 5-minute drive from the Kapelhof. With children go to Plopsaland De Panne or amusement park Bellewaerde. In nice weather you can reach the beautiful sandy beaches of the Belgian coast in half an hour. For a cultural day we recommend the art cities Bruges and Lille (F). In the cottage you will be pampered, your beds are made on arrival and the towels are ready.

Beautiful house in a superb location to visit places in Belgium. Very comfortable and clean. A wonderful place for families with plenty of room. Would recommend to everyone.

Sehr schönes Haus in sehr ländlicher Umgebung ;-)

Wir haben uns insgesamt Recht wohl gefühlt. Das Haus war rundum ausgestattet und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Kommunikation mit den Besitzern fand auf Niederländisch statt und war auch bei jeglichen Fragen gegeben. Allerdings ist es nicht mehr gestattet zu Grillen nicht mehr gestattet und auch keiner zur Verfügung. UND...sowohl die Kaution, also auch die Kurtaxe und die Endreinigung MUSSTEN direkt bei Anreise in BAR bezahlt werden. Damit hätten wir nicht gerechnet und haben dementsprechend mit allen zusammengekratzt was wir hatten. Das war nicht so schön und stand auch nicht so direkt beschrieben in der Ausschreibung vom Haus! Wir finden das sowas klar Beschrieben sein muss!!! Ansonsten waren wir zufrieden :-)

5 Star accomodation

Superb accomodation, excellently maintained with high quality furnishing and fixtures. Annie and Will are very welcoming and property is very quiet down a little country lane off the main road from Ypres which is a 10 minute drive away. So easy to get to all the nearby WW1 sites. Can't speak highly enough of the property and would certainly come back here.

Home away from home

Magnificent home in a relaxing rural location close to Ypres and many significant historical sites. Very hospitable hosts. Thoroughly recommend this property.

Lovely property

This is a really nice place. I stayed with my wife and my parents. All the bedrooms are large and the beds are extremely comfortable. It might be worth noting that there is a downstairs bathroom with shower and separate WC that were ideal for my Dad who struggles a little with mobility. Upstairs has its own bathroom. Everything has been thought of and all things like towels, cleaning products, kitchen products, etc are provided. Great lounge and dining area and also a good TV/DVD set up (decent size screen) and a Bluetooth stereo. The owners were really helpful and welcoming and they have friends directly across the road that speak fluent English which was a great help. The property is in the countryside but access to a nearby village and of course Ypres town are both short drives. All in all we had a great break and I would thoroughly recommend this property as a quiet base to visit a great part of Belgium.
