Location is 5 stars, property could use some work
You cannot beat this location which is walkable to some wineries and a very short drive to downtown Yountville. The property itself needs work and wasn’t worth the four figure price per night.
The good - our group loved the backyard and the hot tub. The beds were very comfortable. The owner was very responsive when we could not get one of the smoke alarms to stop beeping.
Needs improvement - the house was not as clean as it should have been. The towels smelled like mildew, light fixtures had cobwebs, and the white bath mats looked dirty upon arrival. The pool accessories were thrown all over the garage. While the backyard view is great, the outside of the property needs some TLC. The house lacked a regular coffee pot which was a big negative for members of our group.
