"Had a two night stay and was very happy with my choice. The superior double room was great. Excellent bathroom. Homemade biscuits in room which I thought was a lovely touch. The breakfast was excellent - couldn’t fault it. Homemade jams/marmalades. I would definitely stay there again !"

We had 4 in a room so space was tight but knew it would be!
Not sure we could have done it for a week!

"We received a warm welcome when we checked in. Our room was spotless and had quality bed/bedding etc. Also had a spacious, well appointed bathroom. We had an excellent night's sleep. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast here. All the food was first class and everyone who served us was very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel."

Comfy bed and the room was well equipped with tea and coffee, biscuits, water etc. We had no trouble parking. Breakfast was first class. "

"Very nice staff, very clean room, nice clean bathroom nice shower over the bath plenty of hot water good water pressure, 2 small bottles of shampoo and body wash and a small bar of soap towels provided. Nice room with desk and chairs the bed was comfortable. Not enough power points to charge your phone/laptop/watch no USB points especially difficult if two people have items to charge at the same time maybe bring an extension lead/plug. Car parking is charged and expensive especially if staying...

"The location was good, though parking was difficult in the back alley. The room was quite hot, even on a cool day, and were it not for the ability to open the window and use a fan (already in the room) it would have been very comfortable. The condition of the room - new and clean - was very good."

Our room wasn’t serviced properly on any of the three nights. The breakfast was lacking and almost cold on morning 3.
Staff were so helpful to get resolved.
Very disappointed this time"

"We stayed at Woodhall hotel and spa for 4 nights in the lodges.
There was not much natural light entering the room and noise can be heard from the adjoining room
The building could do with some refurbishment
The views and gardens are beautiful
The staff were really excellent and nothing was too much trouble
The food was equally good with some fabulous combinations and flavours and, they have an interesting wine list, if slightly on the pricey side.
Overall we enjoyed our stay. Thank you"
