This New England style home is a 2 family with an adjoining staircase. The lower level has a bathroom, eating area, living room and 3 bedrooms. The upper 2 floors have a kitchen, dining room, game room, bathroom, 4 bedrooms and a deck.
Its great for 2 families wanting to vacation together but can retreat to their own spaces at night. New furniture!

Up to 8 parking spaces so leave the car in the driveway and walk across the street to the beach!

We had three generations stay with 4 families. 8 adults and 7 children ages 1-7. The house was perfect. Proximity to the beach was exactly what was needed with small kids with various needs. Views from the porch were highly enjoyable during off beach hours. House was spacious and clean. Steve was responsive and easy to work with. All around awesome vacation for us.

Amazing stay

Perfect location on the beach. We traveled with my parents, adult siblings and my young children. I loved the separate space in the basement for my immediate family. Quick responses when asking questions. If I travel with my large family again would definately stay there.

Perfect beach vacation

Absolutely perfect. We had a great week with our large family, 12 of us ages 2-82. The location was superb, right across the street from the beach and right in front of a crosswalk. Also walking distance to multiple restaurants, ice cream spots and convenience stores. The house was large enough for everyone to have their own space. The 2 decks were great for outdoor space. Will definitely be returning next year!

Perfect vacation!

We had a wonderful time! House was perfect for our large family, plenty of room to spread out if you wanted. Love, love the upper deck for hanging out...was able to see the fireworks from short sands perfectly! Loved staying right across the road from the beach & having only a short walk for dinner or an ice cream. With any luck, we'll be back next year! :)

Great House and Location to the Beach

Spent a week at York with our extended family. The house is great for large groups with ample space and great views. Good location right on a crosswalk on a quiet section of Long Sands but still easy walking distance to some great restaurants. Everyone enjoyed the week, thanks Steve.

Perfect family vacation!!

Perfect house in a perfect location! We had 14 family members staying at this immaculate, conveniently located home. Plenty of room to be together or to find your own private space. Well stocked kitchen and supplied linens and towels were a wonderful convenience. Proximity to the ocean, right across the street, lent itself to views of Nubble Light, lots of beach time and walks along the ocean. Very close to restaurants, ice cream, shopping and attractions. Thank you, Steve, for your quick and kind responses to all of my messages during the week! Wish we could have stayed longer!!

So great!

We have been coming to York beach for years but had grown out of our previous rental. This house was so perfect for all of us; 6 adults and and 5 children. Love being directly across the beach. The house was very clean and well maintained and Steve was very easy to get ahold of if needed. My only small complaint was the WiFi was very poor but we didn’t really need that on vacation.

Nice house on the beach

Great house as advertised across the road from the beach. Lots of bedrooms and sleeping space. 2 kitchens and living spaces perfect as a 2 family stay. Large grill out back. Would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful beach house!

My three sons and their families joined me for a week of fun in the sun & surf! Two families slept on the third floor. One on the lower level with me! The second floor was the socializing location for cribbage games , watching TV and eating meals together. Our daily trip to the beach was simply walking across the street! We used the outdoor shower to clean the sand off our feet (the little ones loved it!). There was a great view of Nubble Lighthouse from “la poupe” deck on the third floor! We had a fabulous time relaxing and playing together!

Where you want to be.

This is a home in a great location that accommodates a lot of people in separate bedrooms (many other homes say they accommodate a lot by the use of sofa beds) It appears that a lot of work has been put into the home, and that makes it very comfortable. The location is incredible. The third floor balcony has a perfect view of the ocean right across the street. The crosswalk is in front of the house, and leads right to a ramp to the beach. The owner is friendly and accommodating. Lots of parking, and an outdoor shower. Our whole family loved it.

French beach house

This properties location could not be better. We had amazing views of Nubble light and Boon Island. We also had a wonderful view of tide coming in or out along with beautiful sunrises. House was very well setup and comfortable. The wifi was a little weak but didnt bother too much as we were on vacation so didnt really need it.

Very nice stay!

Proximity to the water couldn't be better! Exactly what we were looking for! This funky house has lots of room to either hang out together or separate for quiet time. Middle floor is the socializing space with well-stocked kitchen and handy laundry and bathroom. Smaller kitchen in lower level. We spent 6 days/5 nights just past Labor day and it was quiet along the shore. I imagine summers really get rockin in this area but the time of year was perfect for us! Beautiful sunrises!

Beautiful beach house with water views from every room!

Four (and a half) of us enjoyed a short stay in this amazing house directly across from Long Sands. As this house can easily sleep 14 in 7 different bedrooms, we regretted not bringing all of our friends with us to enjoy the house and views! The layout of the house was perfect, having 4 bedrooms upstairs with a walkout deck facing the ocean, the main floor with a mostly open floor plan, and the basement apartment complete with 3 bedrooms, kitchen, living space and full bath. We took advantage of the space by staying upstairs with the baby’s Pack N Play in a separate bedroom and the grandparents staying in the downstairs space. Although the new owners have made some necessary updates throughout the house, the charm is not lost. We enjoyed having modern amenities while still feeling like we were in a cozy cottage by the beach. Both kitchens were fully stocked with everything we needed to season, cook and store our food. Additionally, both bathrooms were left with a few toiletries for us to use as needed. We truly feel like we found the best secret in York here! Hearing the waves crash through the night and waking up to the sunrise over the ocean from our bed was more than we had expected from our short trip. The main floor was perfect for sitting and enjoying the view, as well as letting the baby crawl and explore with little trouble to find. This house will not disappoint anyone looking for a quiet beach view with more than enough space for a large family to enjoy!
