Traveling and just needed a place to sleep. Room was adequate. Price was GREAT. Staff was pleasant. I would stay here again.

I stayed one night on the way to visit my friends in Virginia and another night on the way back Florida. It was a pleasant stay. The place is also pet friendly. My kitty stayed with me both nights without any problem. :)

Plain vanilla envelope

They were renovating. Parking lot uou had to work around snd was not finished off. No soaps or shampoos. Bathroom needed rrplaving. Room was warm A/c sasnt on. Clean no smell or bugs.

Wasn’t expecting 5 star but …

I knew this wasn’t going to be a five star experience but I assumed that a Motel six would have a certain standard. The staff was friendly and professional, no problem there but the room was substandard even for a cheap motel. The light bulb in the light closest to the door was burned out - the king size bed was missing a pillow and one side of the mattress was so soggy that it nearly dumped me on the floor if I rolled to close to the edge… had to sleep in the middle of the bed to be comfortable. I’m not usually one to complain and like I said I didn’t expect much but it didn’t even meet my low expectations. Maybe just got a bad room? - One a high note rhe owner had just got two new German Shepherd puppies and he had them in the lobby… he let us pet them and they were very cute!

Bug problems

The place looked good and clean. I always leave my bags on the luggage stand and never touch a bed. I got up to get ready to leave and a roach was crawling on the table that made me upset with this nice looking place but has bug problems.

NASTY

In spite of the poor reviews, we chose this hotel because more often than not hotels poorly reviewed are not that bad. Motel 6, in particular, is usually a good bet. Not so in this situation. This hotel is AWFUL. We were greeted later at night by drunk / high construction workers and a front desk blown out currently under demolition. But this wasn't even 10% of it. The first room they put us in stunk of HEAVY cologne mixed with body oder. There was a thick layer of dust on top of bed head board indicating it had not been cleaned in 6 months or more. The carpet was welll past worn the furniture was excessively dirty. We asked for another room. The second room came with a super nasty body odor, was equally dirty, and its bathroom was filled with black mold. There is no way this room would even pass health code, let alone meet the minimum standard anyone would have for any hotel (surface-level clean). This is the WORST Motel 6 I have ever stayed in, and second worst hotel I have ever been in. I highly discourage anyone from spending the night. Sleep in your car in the parking lot.

It is what it is

Hotel was what to be expected for price! Very kind customer service manager on duty was kind! I saw a rude customer making racial comments to the manger, which is not okay he handled it better than I would have for sure♥️ He made the best acomdations he could for us too!

I reserved the room online. At check in the attendant asked for my drivers liscense, It took over 10 mins to enter my information. I thought booking and paying online would only require a quick confirmation. When we got to the room there was no toilet paper. They did deliver some and also had to fix our TV. Overall the price was very reasonable and the attendants were happy to help.

Good Stay

Obviously, this is not a 5 star hotel, but the owners were very nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and we felt completely safe.

Tough check in. I had scheduled on Orbitz, and the front desk lady took 10 minutes to find my reservation. She attempted to get me to pay again several times. When she finally said my card was declined, she should be a record that was not for my registration, even though she had my drivers license. She still said it was my registration for an AMEX card and I do not have an AMEX card. When I finally pulled it up on my phone and showed her a second time, she found my reservation. The room itself has all the carpeting, the hot water did not work or even turn on at the sink. Not expecting much but still not great.

Motel was just OK

This Motel in in the process of being renovated. Our room was clean but the rugs and furniture were old. Stains on the couch - yuk. Bad draft coming in the door, towels were too small. It is located right next to the interstate and that is what we heard well, that and other rude guests, all night. While checking in there were 2 people at the desk speaking in a foreign language which made me extremely uncomfortable. We stayed at this motel because of their pets stay free policy as we were traveling with 2 dogs. I would not stay here any longer than 1 night.
