Our guests enjoy the use of a private pool and stunning terrace, complete with a BBQ and festoon-lit outdoor dining area. The warm interior offers a rare Hot Tub spa room, a full kitchen with dishwasher, A/C throughout, Smart TV and fast WiFi. The perfect base for a relaxing getaway, private and secluded, whilst still being within easy reach of the bustling town square.
ABOUT THE SPACE Our Xaghra hideaway is the perfect base for a tranquil weekend break or a relaxing family holiday. Spend your days relaxing on the terrace, soaking up the Mediterranean sun in the pool and dining al-fresco under the festoon lights in the long summer evenings. Situated in a peaceful location just minutes away from the bustling restaurants & bars of Xaghra village square, you'll be in the heart of a favourite getaway spot for locals!
From the moment you step inside our spacious ground-floor apartment, it welcomes you with a bright open plan living and dining area, modern facilities throughout and a fully equipped kitchen giving that real "home away from home" feeling!
The apartment is perfectly sized and equipped to accommodate a group of friends or a family of 4 persons in complete comfort for any length of stay. There are two bedrooms with a total of 3 beds over 1-double bedroom and 1-twin bedroom. You will find a family bathroom accessible from the hot tub spa room as well as 2 en-suite bathrooms equipped with walk-in showers. Our space can comfortably sleep 4 adults and a baby cot/crib can be provided upon request. All bedrooms and the living area come equipped with modern dual air-conditioning (cool or heat), so you can be sure of a good night's sleep in any weather.
The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals including a full oven & gas stove, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, kettle, pots & pans, dishes, Dolce Gusto coffee maker and all the essential cooking utensils. Guests can relax and dine in the cosy living/dining area as well as enjoy BBQ cooking on the beautifully lit private terrace which comes equipped with a large gas BBQ (gas provided) and a dining table with space for 4 persons. A washing machine, clothes drying rack, hairdryer, iron and ironing board are also available.
The living area has direct access to the terrace and pool area through the large French windows and features a 50" 4K Smart TV (with all accounts provided for Netflix/Disney+/Amazon Prime Video/Youtube) and a comfortable sofa and armchair arrangement. Fast WiFi is available in all areas of the apartment thanks to the fibre-optic connection which handles Zoom/Teams video calls with ease.
In addition to the outdoor pool, guests also enjoy unlimited use of the indoor hot tub spa room. This features a powerful 4-person whirlpool hot tub that can be heated during the cooler months to ensure you can soak and unwind all year round. This room is also equipped with 2 lounge chairs and a coffee table where you can relax with your favourite drink.
The outdoor area features a private swimming pool that is well maintained and treated all year round however do keep in mind that like all outdoor pools in Gozo, it is not heated so it will not be warm during the winter months. The pool area is equipped with 2 premium sun loungers and an outdoor shower.

GUEST ACCESS You will have completely PRIVATE use of this 2-bedroom ground-floor apartment and all of its outdoor areas & facilities. You will NOT share any parts of the apartment, pool, outdoor spaces and indoor hot tub room with anyone outside your group. The property is accessed from a private entrance in a quiet street.

LOCATION Our apartment is situated on a quiet street in the picturesque Gozo town of Xaghra, steeped in history and set among traditional houses and real locals. It's just an 8-minute walk to the bustling town square where you can find numerous cafes, restaurants & bars teeming with energy and life. All the essential amenities such as supermarkets, a pharmacy, ATM and public transport can be found around the square. The world-famous red sandy beaches of Ramla bay can be reached with a short 7-minute drive or by taking the frequent direct buses from the nearby bus stop. Enjoy a unique mix of sunny Mediterranean tranquillity and bustling village life. The renowned neolithic temples of Ġgantija can be reached with a relaxed 15-minute stroll through the old streets.
Public transport in Gozo is an economical and efficient way of getting around, almost all areas of the island are accessible by bus. The nearest bus stop from the house is called "Lukin" which is served regularly by the 307 bus to/from the capital Victoria. There is also a direct bus (302) to Ramla Bay (beach) from the bus stop "Xaghra" which can be reached in an 8-minute walk. You can also catch the big red "Hop On - Hop Off" buses from the dedicated stop outside the Ġgantija temples which are a 15-minute walk from the apartment. There is no private parking garage on the property but there is plenty of free street parking available right outside, so parking a hire car should never be a problem.

Please note that the Government of Malta has increased the mandatory Environmental Contribution (Eco-Tourist Tax) for all stays starting on or after July 1, 2026.

For bookings made prior to July 1, 2026, for stays occurring on or after this date, the system may not automatically apply the updated government rate at the time of booking. In such cases, any difference between the previous rate (€0.50) and the new legal rate (€1.50) must be settled separately before or upon arrival.
By confirming your reservation, you acknowledge that the applicable tax is determined by the rate in effect during your stay, regardless of the booking date.

Aspectos positivos: Limpieza, llegada, comunicación, ubicación y precisión del anuncio
Good location, easy walk to Xaghra with its many bars and restaurants also a fully stocked mini supermarket. Communication with host was great and check in was easy. Only down side was the patio area lost sun quite early and the pool was pretty chilly as a result. I’m sure this would be better in the height of summer.
