"We had a beautiful stay the night before a family reunion the next day, during which we enjoyed a delicious meal and were accommodated perfectly. Gratitude to the staff who seated us at a large round table which was perfect for us to exchange our many memories and celebrate our grandparents who celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary there back in 1973 and the bride and groom who held their reception there in 1971! "The rooms are basic but for short stays ideal and for the price a bargain, (from a woman’s point of view they could do with a shelf other than the one beside the bed to put toiletries on in the bedroom and one in the shower cubicle) The rooms are clean and have tv, safe and tea/coffee making facilities. "We had a lovely meal in the restaurant, Vicky P was fantastic throughout the evening. I was unwell during the stay and needed to book an extra night, staff were kind and so caring asking my husband if I was ok. Will definitely stay again. Pool access was brilliant and included in the price."

"The access to the property was very simple to follow and the breakfast was lovely! We could have done with extra fab as it was very hot in the room and the one working fan didn’t do a lot. We had a lovely stay though, thank you "

"What a find. On driving up to the lroperty, we were taken back with the beauty. We were apprehensive asnon a univereity site but to need to be at all. Check in easy and free parking. Walked through busy bar (2 weddings on) but no issues at all. A little noise heard from room until music finished but was grand. Our dog also had a super time "

"After a long motorbike trip from Plymouth to Harrogate my husband stayed here for a night half way he said it was an absolute gem and loved his room and bathroom. The pub was welcoming and friendly and had a food truck too. "

"The Old Rose and Crown is in a quiet location on the edge of the Lickey Hills surrounded by grass and trees. It is easy to reach from the M5. The room was well set out with comfortable bed, sofa and chairs, and en suite. The only downside was that no food is provided on site but there are a couple of pub / restaurants within 10 mins walk of the hotel. "The property is great. I was traveling with my wife, daughter (13 yrs old) and nephew (16 yrs old). The unit has 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed. It's a large space approximately 600 sqft. There is also parking which is a big plus in England. The unit does not indicate it has a washer and dryer but the picture of the unit clearly shows a washer. Unfortunately there's no dryer and since we were traveling during the winter it took a long time for the clothes to hang dry. We were in outer Birmingham...
