Beautiful, updated lakefront home on Lake Coeur d’Alene - sleeps up to 8

Located on the quiet and beautiful Cave Bay, this lakefront Coeur d’Alene home is the perfect spot for your family vacation or weekend retreat. You’ll enjoy access to the dock and one boat slip along with paddle boards, kayaks, and a paddle boat. The house is just a short walk from the Bay’s public park featuring a playground, volleyball net, sandy beach, and beach toys!

This newly remodeled home features a large, well stocked and open kitchen and dining area, two family rooms, and four bedrooms. The kitchen is stocked with cooking and baking essentials, a coffee pot and Keurig, and dishes/silverware for the family. Both bathrooms were recently updated and feature tile and granite countertops. The lower level bathroom features a massive spa shower- you’ll feel the luxury! 3 bedrooms contain queen beds and ample closet space. The 4th bedroom is perfect for kids with its twin-over-full bunk bed with a pull out trundle, sleeping 4! The lower level storage room includes an extra fridge for all your snacks and meal prep needs! You’ll also find the washer/dryer so you can easily toss in wet suits or towels and be ready for the next day!

You’ll fall in love with gorgeous views while sitting on either the upper or lower decks, both with dining tables and ample deck seating! The massive lower deck offers sun and shade for everyone’s preferences. The dock and lake access is just a quick few stairs from the lower deck- getting to the water is a breeze! The dock has chairs and umbrellas to enjoy while watching the family swim. Need a break from the sun? Grab a board game from the store room or use the streaming smart tv while you recharge. There are 3 designated parking spaces available just steps from the front door.

Cave Bay is a perfect location - just a quick boat ride to restaurants at Rockford, Harrison, or Conkling. The CDA Casino and Circling Raven Golf Course is just a 10 minute drive away! Tons of close options for hiking, biking, and other outdoor fun! Coeur d’Alene has so much to offer!

This was our second year at this fabulous property. The house is beautiful inside and well stocked. It is so great having a second refrigerator. We especially love the outdoor space. The two decks are so nice and the lower one is huge. We have a boat and it is so nice to have a slip for the boat. The dock is in great shape with plenty of space for chairs and having the umbrella was nice to have if we wanted shade. The new floating mat was lots of fun. We didn’t use the kayaks and paddle boards much but so great to have those available. Some in our group went fishing almost every morning and had great success not far from the house. The owners are so nice and wonderful to visit with. We have already booked a week next year.

Amazing Week at CDA Lake

What an amazing week at CDA Lake for our family! Our host was friendly, gracious, and made us feel so welcome! The house provided everything we needed and more. The set up was perfect as we spent much time on both decks with spectacular views, and on the grass and dock for swimming and fishing. The kitchen had everything we needed and had plenty of options for eating while enjoying the beautiful views of the lake! We were very blessed to spend a wonderful week together and are so thankful for our awesome host! We are planning to come back again and highly recommend this home for your family and friends!!!!

Relaxing time on the lake

The entire area is so peaceful and beautiful. We spent many hours playing in the water with the water toys, relaxing on the deck, and playing games. The house was well stocked for all our activities.

Beautiful location and great hosts!

This was our first time to CDA Lake and it did not disappoint! Beautiful cove to peddle boat and paddle board. The kids loved hanging out on the dock and swimming off the mat. We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Jay (our host) greeted us at arrival to make sure we were all set. Fantastic stay - just wish we had more time there!

Family vacation

The home and lake are both beautiful! The home was plenty big for my adult children and their children (we had 10 total and everyone had a bed). There were plenty of different “living” spaces where each different group could go have some individual time and big enough eating area (table and bar) so we could all eat together. The dock was the perfect place to hang out all day! Our family all really had a great time! Thank you Dawn and Jay for being wonderful hosts!

Perfect Getaway

Jay and Dawn were exceptional hosts from the time of booking up until we left. The house was so well stocked and had everything we needed. It’s close enough to CDA, we were able to go back and forth easily, but you wouldn’t need to leave if you didn’t want to. I’d love to stay at this property again. My kids created core memories in this place, and we are forever grateful.

Fabulous property

We cannot say enough about this fabulous property. The location was perfect - especially the proximity to Harrison (to go for ice cream) and to Black Rock Marina in Rockford Bay for gas. The house was updated and so comfortable. It is very well stocked and the kitchen was one of the best stocked of all the places we have rented. It was great having a second refrigerator. The two decks had a wonderful view of the lake and provided lots of seating. The lower deck was huge and you could sit in the sun or shade. There are just a couple short stairways to the dock and water and a grassy area. It was great to have a boat slip and both the slip and the dock were in excellent condition. The umbrella on the dock was awesome if you wanted some shade. It was very hot the week we were there and it was a plus to have kayaks, paddle boards, a paddle boat and floating mat to enjoy. The owners are next door and were very friendly and helpful if we had any questions. We have already booked for next year!

Beautiful Location

The greatest part of this home is its location. It sits in a quiet cove close to Black Rock Marina and the town of Harrison, both of which are enjoyable visits via boat. The house is nice with 2 great balconies, lots of sleeping room and comfortable beds. It’s really nice to have the owners next door. They are the best. They are very attentive to help in any way. We hope to return for an even longer stay than 5 nights.

Fabulous getaway vacation home

Jay and Dawn were great hosts. This house has everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. Paddle boat and paddle boards were so much fun. Expansive decks provide breathtaking views. Firepit was fun at night. Great location on the lake. We will be back.

Beautiful getaway!

The view from this house is so gorgeous! It's in a quiet area a short ways away from a great little park with swings, a playground, sand area and more. We really enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle boat provided, though unfortunately the weather was dreary for most of our stay. The home was comfortable and well appointed. A few tiny recommendations: a smaller pair of tongs for cooking in the kitchen (not grill tongs or salad tongs), a grill mat since the grill grates are rusty, and a second (more powerful) hair dryer so there's one in each bathroom. There is so much deck space! Two large decks with tons of seating options plus chairs on the dock below. There are two bedrooms upstairs with a queen bed that share a bathroom. The last queen bedroom (only one with a view) is downstairs along with the dark kid's room with bunk bed and second bathroom. There's also a living room on the lower floor which is nice to have two hangout spots (no TV). It might be helpful to note that you can hear footsteps, dishwasher, and toilets flushing quite distinctly downstairs. We turned the box fan on high so it drowned out the sound and were fine. The owners house is right next door and we appreciated their friendliness and helpfulness when needed. We were quite comfortable here and would love to come back when the weather is super warm so we could truly enjoy all the lake has to offer! Thanks so much for hosting our family getaway.

Perfect vacation house

The only thing that surpassed the beauty, comfort and wonderful view of the house was the hospitality of the hosts, Jay and Dawn. Every amenity we needed was already at the house and any help/ questions we had they were very available and kind. We had a large group and the house accommodated us all comfortably. From our youngest in the group at 17 to the oldest at 82, each and every one of us had the best time. We will definitely be returning in the future! Thank you, Jay and Dawn!!

Wonderful Labor Day Weekend Experience

We had the best time staying at this property. Every detail was thought out. Dawn and her husband were so welcoming and kind and helpful. Everything was so updated and clean which is hard to find in lake properties. Beds were very comfortable. We had never stayed at that part of CDA and it was so peaceful. Short boat ride to Harrison for ice cream and the water was smooth to surf and tube. Location was amazing, gps took us right to the house easy to find. Really nice having access to 3 parking spots. The dock was great and a cute yard for the kids to play and fish. Fireworks on Sunday night just made the trip that much more magical. I would have given it 6 stars if I could. We can’t wait to come back!
