"Stayed at Hellidon Lakes for a family wedding. Room, service and staff were excellent. Lovely room overlooking the golf course. Stunning setting for the wedding itself as well. Food was of an extremely high standard throughout the weekend. "

"Very helpful and provided a packed breakfast on both days as had to be out of hotel at 07.00 each morning. Room was very comfortable, clean and warm. Mine host and staff were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely be booking again. "

"What a lovely little find. 5 mins off the M1, but set in the grounds of an old vicarage and very quiet and tranquil. Lovely welcome from the owners, shown my room which was lovely and spotless. Shared kitchen area had everything, cooker, fridge, coffee machine… basically everything you need. You can use the garden area which had seating and tables which was lovely just to listen to the peace and quiet in the sunshine. "Had a nice peaceful stay at The Heart of England. Very comfortable bed and powerful invigorating shower I couldn't get the TV to work unfortunately, but that didnt affect my stay. I will be returning again!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we stayed here at the same time last year, and this year did not disappoint. Friendly, helpful staff, throughout the hotel. Good breakfast and special requests delivered quickly. Parking is good. All rooms well supplied with tea,coffee etc . Good eco friendly towel and cleaning options. We also saw staff deal very politely and discreetly with a complaint from another customer. The cost is very good. We will come again next year, thank you."

"We had a great stay at the Paisley Pear. Quick & easy to check in, room was clean and had enough tea & coffee for our one night stay. Super easy to check out. Wish could have stayed longer."

"An amazing stay. Reasonably priced. Great location for a Porsche Experience day. Restaurant location and sunset was lovely. Execution was good. The only downside is that I would have liked somewhere outside to sit as we had a single room apartment. My room smelt a bit of cheap fruity air freshener to disguise the smell of what must have been cigarette smoke. Everything else was perfect. "

"The Banbury Cross B&B puts a number of hotel chains to shame, from being greeted by the host through to the facilities and breakfast. Great place to stay, slept like a log and was fully refreshed for the drive down to Kidlington for work. Highly recommend this B&B."
