Perfect getaway

We really enjoyed our week’s stay here. The outdoor space was really nice - both covered and uncovered patio, cornhole, and great fire pit. The lake was very beautiful and relaxing. Before 10a and after 6p everyday the lake becomes a 10pm lake which makes it extremely enjoyable. The A/C inside the house was dual zone, great and much needed! Large fully stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. We would definitely stay here again.

Family time

Although our week (weather) was not the greatest we made due. Ran into a couple snags but Jeff and Darla were super responsive and corrected the issue! Very comfortable place, great view and most importantly we were able to spend time with family all in one place!! Adams Lake is a beautiful lake and would highly recommend renting on this lake!

Great week at the lake.

We had a great time staying in Jeff’s home for the week, we were very comfortable and had plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked with all the appliances and things you may need. We enjoyed spending time there making dinner to eat out on the patio. We sat around the firepit in the eve and the kids had a fun time playing in the yard. They loved the hammock and swing. We especially loved the boat! Spent quite a lot of time at the sand bar! Will definitely stay again!

Just book it!

Stop your search right here, if you're looking for a relaxing getaway on the water, with a huge yard and all the comforts of home... You found it! Jeff has thought of absolutely everything! We did a last-minute family trip over the 4th of July holiday, which made things a big hectic on my end.... Jeff rolled with all of my questions, made sure we had everything we needed. The pontoon boat rental was a wonderful bonus! This is one of those "memories made here" places that you want to rebook every year for that family get together or perfect getaway.

Family trip

Great location, great property. There is plenty of space, indoors and out... and plenty of seating in all spaces. They also have lots of games and things to do together... corn hole, croquet, and other outdoor games. The back yard is huge and flat with nice views, and good fishing! Our grandson caught a mess. This property is well-equipped inside and out, and Jeff and Darla are great people and very accommodating. Having the opportunity to rent their pontoon was a must and much appreciated. Nice boat. Friendly neighbors too. Recommend!

Still waiting on return of boat security deposit two months later

Booked our family vacation for mid August. Host listed the availability of a pontoon rental, which my parents did separately. Agreement stated a $400 security deposit (less gas used) would be returned 2 weeks after rental. They have attempted contacting host via phone at least 5-10 times (no voicemail set up), text, and messaging thru VRBO site 3 times and no response except the first time which was over a month ago, that he needed to look into it. He has been completely unresponsive.

Annual golf trip with friends

We chose Indiana for our golf trip this year based on some positive reviews of several Kendallville/Angola area golf courses. Jeff's place was a perfect spot for our home base for this trip. The inside is updated and comfortable. Towels and linens were plentiful and clean. The beds and bedrooms spacious and comfortable. We found the yard and decks to be great spots to hang out and relax while taking in the view of the lake. We enjoyed the fire pit at night as well. A bonus was the proximity to Adam's Lake Pub, which serves top notch food (steaks, scallops, prime rib) and provides exceptional, friendly service. Jeff's cabin will definitely be our choice when we make a return trip to Indiana.

Summer Fun

Our overall stay was very positive. The cottage was clean and accommodated our needs. We visited on the lower deck and ate our dinners and played cards under the covered deck. We had fun swimming, great fishing and boating on the rented pontoon. Good family vacation...ages ranged from 3 to 88.

Lovely property, very relaxing.

We had another great stay. Wonderful covered patio where we spent most of our time. Most of the family love to fish and enjoyed fishing from the pier as well as out on the lake. Jeff is easy to work with and readily available for any questions and/or concerns.

Relaxing Home Away From Home

Thank you Jeff & Daniela for a nice vacation away from home. A true home away from home. We were thankful there were so many things to do there (boating, fishing, kayaking….just relaxing). The view was amazing, especially to wake up in the morning and see the lake view from the bedroom. It was very peaceful and quiet, especially with the lake’s “quiet time” that lets you fish and kayak in peace. The patio area was used regularly, many of us laying in the hammock, just swaying, relaxing, and napping. Eating meals outside there was also great. Some spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the sunshine with the view. While there was a little issue initially, it offered the ability to get onto work meetings via wifi. While experiencing a few snags with things, Jeff and Daniela addressed things quickly and did their best to correct the situation, even going above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and not uncomfortable. Definitely stepped up when needed. The Fox house is definitely a place we would love to come back to. It offered the opportunity to relax and get away from things without needing to leave and go elsewhere to find something to do. While the lake is in the country, it is a less than ½ hour drive in many directions for groceries, dining, entertainment, recreational areas, etc. Thanks again Fox family!

Perfect end to summer

Jeff's home was exactly as described & even more beautiful than the pictures. We all had a fantastic time relaxing & fishing on the lake. The covered deck with large dining area were enjoyed every evening followed by a fire in the firepit. We plan to return next summer for a repeat trip! Thank you for sharing your home Jeff! Lovely Home

The good surprises way outweighed the bad. Unfortunately the stove was out of order and cooking is our favorite pastime on vacation. But the owner went right out and bought electric burners and there was a large toaster oven to get us by. The weather wasnt quite warm enough to do our boating activities, but the house had so many other activities to keep us and the kids busy and happy inside anf in the yard. Yard games, spare propane tank for the grill, paper towel, toilet paper, towels, crayons and games (within toddler reach so be careful), and many more little bonuses. They even left us treats as a welcone gift. The internet service was great as well which was a must for us. Thank you!

Great much needed vaca

The house was as described in the listing. There was lots of soap and hand sanitizer. Lots of condiments in fridge and cabinets. Pretty much anything you could want as far as kitchen utensils. We really could not swim off the dock (too weedy)so the kids spent time playing the many games provided and boating. The pontoon paddle boat is awesome and I really enjoyed the kayaks. Even took the grandkids out. The pontoon boat is a bit tricky to get in and out. Jeff is very responsive and a great host.

Quiet and relaxing

This lakefront rental had everything as advertised. The pictures actually don't do it justice. Jeff met us upon our arrival and gave us a thorough tour of where everything was at, and how to use everything. The inside of the house was newly remodeled, nice and comfortable. We enjoyed the outside covered living area every day, especially on the 1 or 2 days when we had rain. We enjoyed the pontoon for fishing and going to the sandbar, and also for just going on a few boat rides. The lake was very quiet we had the lake almost to ourselves for most of the week. Very relaxing week!
