Get away from your busy routine and stay at this peaceful pool house overlooking Lake Isabella with your whole family. The perfect home base for all your adventures in the Kern River Valley. This spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom pool house makes you feel like you are home away from home. Besides the super comfy beds and open floor plan, you can also enjoy the amazing wood burning stove for those cool winter nights.

This charming little escape from everyday life will make you feel right at home. At Vista del Lago, you’re enjoy the best of both worlds, exploring the Kern River Mountains while staying in newly remodeled pool house. After a long day on the river and or lake come home to this fully renovated house with 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, spacious living room, beautiful outdoor patio area, and of course …. The POOL!

The Space
There’s nothing better than summertime at Vista del Lago. It truly is the oasis of Wofford Heights. Vista del Lago is only 5 minutes away from Kern River, where there is rafting, hiking, tubing, biking, Shops, and breweries. And if you forget something from the grocery market, no WORRIES, you can always walk down to Charlie’s Market to get what you need. If you’re looking for a clean, air-conditioned escape from the heat, then the layout of Vista del Lago house is PERFECT for your family vacation.
ROOMS:
#1 – Master bedroom with queen bed. One full bathroom and full closet. This bathroom also conveniently leads out to the pool. (Can sleep 2)
#2 – Queen bed with a sitting area and full closet. Sliding doors lead out to the patio and pool area. (Can sleep 2)
#3 – Bunk beds (bottom full-size bed and top twin size bed). And there is an additional twin bed. (Can sleep 4)
The second full bathroom is detached from the bedrooms.
LIVING AREAS
The main living room includes a sectional couch, a reading chair, a cabinet full of board games, a large Smart TV (Netflix, YouTube, Disney+), and fireplace for winter months. This room connects straight into the kitchen which has all the necessary appliances and is very well-stocked with all your cooking needs! The kitchen has an open concept with a large island perfect for entertaining the family.
Patio has it all. Comfortable patio furniture, a BBQ, and a firepit. So after enjoying yourself in the pool during the day you can sit around the firepit to enjoy the beautiful stars and mountains around you.

From Vista Del Lago your only:
5 minutes from Kernville
25 minutes from Alta Sierra Ski Resort
10 minutes from French Gulch Marina
15 minutes from Lake Isabella

Perfect location

It was nice we were in between Kernville and a mile or two from the lake so I made it easy access. The house is setup nice Bbq grill clean pool . Highly recommend Javier is a great host .

Nice house close to the lake

We visited during the 2024 early July heat wave, temperature around 110°F. The house was cool with AC unit in each room. The pool was clean and refreshing. The house was in a great condition. The table was big enough to accommodate our 7 persons family (I can tell you that this is not often the case in similar listings). The house is located in a rural neighborhood close to the lake, we enjoyed it from French Gulch a couple of minutes away. We thank Javier to let us enjoy this wonderful place.

Everything you need for the value that you are looking for!!!!

This property had everything we needed, from the heated pool to the great-quality pool towels to the location of the Kern River and Lake Isabella! The home had plenty of space to spread out and do their thing. There was Wi-Fi and streaming apps and a/c units in each of the bedrooms. My three kids, aged 16, 14, and 9, had all the space and privacy they needed. The water pressure was great, with plenty of hot water! Javier was a very responsive host - communicating everything well ahead of our stay including recommendations to restaurants nearby that deliver. It is a little hard to see the house number if you arrive at night, but the keypads are exactly how described by the host in the attachments he provides.
