The room heating/cooling system was not affective. The pillows were uncomfortable and the mattress gave myself and my husband a bad back in the morning. The shower pressure was also terrible. The room was dated.

Ramside Hall Hotel, Golf and Spa
The shower was the worst shower in a hotel I’ve ever had. Quite disappointed in this key function of a bathroom, whilst away from home. Would not look to book again

Delta Hotels Durham Royal County
Staff were all fine. Reception area bright and clean. Elsewhere the hotel building appeared tired / worn, with some frayed carpet, creaking floorboards and scuffed doors. Great character and spacious. Easy check in / check out. Clean and tidy on arrival. Exactly what we were looking for.

Durham Retreat 15 minutes walk from Durham City center.
Great stay. Easy access to everything we wanted to see. Did not walk to town but drove with ample parking in town if your driving. Overall a good stay.

Durham City Cottages
Stayed for 3 nights over New Year...was absolute bliss. Late booking and the communication was brilliant to get it sorted. Cottage was immaculate throughout with everything we needed.
