Very nice room

We very much enjoyed our stay at Maine Memories. Cozy room, good kitchen, nicely decorated, great views. Linda the owner was a wonderful hostess. One minor issue I found was that the mandatory fire escape ladder blocked the ability to open the crank operated casement window. Hence: no apparent egress is possible should an emergency occur. Either there is a trick to work around this apparent problem that Linda needs to share with people staying there, or a different window or ladder mount location needs to be in place.

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! The apartment was absolutely perfect—beautifully decorated, spotless, and equipped with everything we needed to feel right at home. The location was unbeatable: tucked in a quiet, charming neighborhood but just minutes from all the best local attractions, restaurants, and shops. Our host went above and beyond—super responsive, friendly, and genuinely invested in making sure our stay was seamless. We’ve stayed in a lot of rentals, but this one truly stands out. Can’t wait to come back!

Charming spot in Wiscassett, Maine

Maine Memories was a charming place to stay during our recent trip. It was cozy, clean and very well appointed. We love houses with character and this one certainly did. It was just off Route 1 so we had access to restaurants and quick travels to other things we want to do.

A perfect respite!

A perfect place to spend a couple of days, exploring Wiscasset and beyond. ‘Maine Memories’ was very comfortable, nicely cared for, located within walking distance of parks, harbor and restaurants and we would definitely love to stay again. See you next year!

Perfect Maine Getaway

This stay had everything we were looking for during our roadtrip to Maine: great views, a cozy bed, comfy linens, a nice kitchen and seating area, lovely decor, and a great location. We could have stayed here several more days, we joked about wanting to rent it year-round! We would absolutely love to return and highly recommend.

Maine memories

The studio was nicely appointed, kitchen has new appliances and was stocked for actual cooking. Very comfortable bed, updated bathroom. The town is charming and quiet in the evening. I enjoyed the central location for exploring mid coast Maine over 5 days, meeting many lovely people, including the hosts.

This unit was perfect for me- I was in town visiting family, and the apartment was large enough for me to feel comfortable. Having a kitchen was an added bonus, I appreciated being able to cook my meals

Wonderful place!

Very clean and nicely decorated. Super close to shops and Red’s Eats in Wiscasset. Lots of little extras which were so nice (tissues, shampoo, soap, and hand soap). Loved the courtyard right out the front door. Great place to sit and enjoy the sun and flowers. Wonderful to have a parking spot just for us.
