Couples getaway condo - river views and hardwood flooring
A western-themed two-bedroom unit, situated on the third floor of the building, provides an excellent retreat while being conveniently located near Main Street in downtown Winter Park. Additionally, as an end unit, it guarantees enhanced tranquility and privacy. The primary living area boasts tiled flooring and is decorated with log-themed lamps. It includes a plush leather sofa and chair, creating a comfortable environment for guests to enjoy the flat-screen TV, VCR, CD player, wood-burning fireplace, and complimentary Wi-Fi access. Please be aware that there is no air conditioning available. The modern kitchen is equipped with contemporary appliances that complement the newly installed countertops and cabinets, along with seating for four at the breakfast bar. For a restful night’s sleep, the primary bedroom features a king-sized bed with a hand-peeled log frame, accompanied by a matching nightstand, a flat-screen TV, and a vanity sink. The second bedroom includes a queen-sized bed, also with a log-peeled bed frame and a vanity sink. The unit includes a complete bathroom located in the main hallway. It is essential to note that the maximum occupancy for this unit is four persons. The complimentary town shuttle stop is located just a short distance away; however, you may also choose to stroll to Main Street, situated two blocks from your location, to experience the various restaurants, shops and outdoor events and activities available in the downtown area. The recreation center features a designated children's area that includes games, a flat screen TV and appropriate furnishings. The expansive great room boasts vaulted ceilings and is equipped with a pool table, a dining table with chairs, a small kitchenette, and large windows flanking a gas fireplace. Additionally, there is a large flat screen TV, a computer station with complimentary Wi-Fi and ample seating. The locker rooms are designed with tiled flooring and include bathroom stalls, showers and lockers for convenience. The main pool and spa area is enclosed by large glass windows and contains an indoor pool, two hot tubs and a cozy sitting area with a table and chairs. Access to a spacious sundeck furnished with comfortable lounge chairs and an outdoor hot tub is also available. Furthermore, a compact workout area is provided, featuring a weight room equipped with a treadmill and a stationary bike. Guests are not allowed to smoke or bring pets onto the property as per the rules of the Homeowner Association. These regulations will be rigorously upheld, with a 200 fine imposed on guests who violate them. WPSTR license: STR5476

Amazing efficiency apartment smack dab in the middle of Main Street shops/restaurants and ski areas. Bonus-apartment is located on free bus route to slopes! Kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans and tools. Couch was comfy and rooms were sparkling! Bathroom is small so if you are tall or large, it might be a minor burden. Pool and club house area was wonderful as well! We throughly loved this place and will stay again!

Extra blankets were nice to have, humidifier was nice to have, everything was available for cooking and cleaning. This was a nice unit, and even with the fresh snow there was someone there early to shovel the walkway and stairs. Could have used a couple more towels, but this was a nice unit and easy to access.

The only issue we had was the heating. We set the thermostat to 70 and it was comfortable the first night. The other nights the room temperate climbed to about 78 even though we turned down the thermostat and the outside temp was about 30. We think that maybe the apartment below us turn up their heat very high and it transferred up.One other very minor note: Adding a pair of kitchen shears to the supplies would be handy.

The condo was in a nice, quiet location with a good view of the river. The rec center had a nice pool/hot tub which was good after a long day of biking.Everything in Winter Park is a short drive or walk, if you prefer.Only things to know are: the bathroom is a little small and there is no AC. Of course, the AC isn't an issue in a place whose summer temps are in the 70s! The written documentation is a little out of date (no towels at the rec center).I would consider this condo again, next time I stay in Winter Park.

Good condo, i enjoyed the river right outside the door. The only complaint is both mattresses are old and uncomfortable, the 3" pads on top if mattresses are not a substantial improvement.

Great place- minor details
We overall enjoyed our stay. The condo had everything we needed except additional towels. We are a family of 4 and wanted to utilize the clubhouse pool but didn’t have any additional towels. We did call for additional towels however where housekeeping is and the condo are not in the same area. We made it work and still utilize the pool. You could tell the furniture hadn’t been moved in awhile and cleaned underneath, most wouldn’t recognize unless you are on the floor like me with small children. Parking is tight, we had to park in another lot due to ours being full. Also, people not reading signs, the loading/unloading area always had someone parking in it permanently/overnight.

Great Place - Limited Kitchen
Overall a wonderful place with great location. Rec Center is fun with indoor pool and indoor and outdoor hot tubs within easy walking distance. Wood burning fireplace was great and the beds were comfortable and nice.The kitchen was not great. One burner on the stove didn't work, pans were largely old and not useful, and it was missing some key cooking utensils.No basics (salt, pepper, oil, etc.) So plan to bring EVERYTHING for cooking.

Very clean and nice. Stove top needs repair. Burners not working properly. could use a new coffee maker with proper filters. Didn’t see any cooking condiments (salt/pepper etc). Thank you for providing shampoo but soap but a little shower gel would be perfect.Very happy with stay and location.

Charge for cleaning but not a clean place.
Every window had dead flies. Pet/cat hair all over furniture and one of our party has severe allergies. Not sure what is standard but why charge for cleaning and yet they make you clean the dishes and more? Yet, place isn't super clean (i have pictures). Loved the location and the babbling brook but show an accurate picture of the building you are actually staying in....not the clubhouse.

Great value and spacious!
The condo was a great size! We traveled with just our son who is 22, but there would have been plenty of room for others. I gave the property four stars for location ONLY because the two flights of stairs in the altitude were rough on us especially when lugging our luggage. We were also in Winter Park to ski and wanted a place at Winter Park Resort. They were all sold out. Having said that, this was a VERY short drive to the resort, and we would stay here again if the same situation occurred. It was a great value, convenient to local restaurants, and convenient to ski rental places. The condo was a little worn, but it was definitely very clean and worked well for our needs. It even had great water pressure in the shower. We didn't use many of the amenities with the property (i.e., pool, hot tub, stove, oven, etc.) because we didn't have time. We did struggle to get the place warm, but I finally turned the heat up multiple degrees (past where I normally would and where we already had turned it to), and it warmed up well then. In fact, my hubby and son both complained I made it too warm. I think it just took a bit for it to kick in so that is on us for not turning it up more to start. I just thought future renters might want to be aware of this. The keycode was great for checking in and leaving. We arrived very late the first night and had no difficulties with getting in. All in all, we would stay here again.

Nice Location, Clean, but Some Details Need Attention
This is a beautiful spot, with a 3rd-story view of the creek from the porch, but a few things could be improved.
1) The WiFi network and password on the information sheets in the condo were wrong. We called the front desk at 4:45 PM on a Thursday, but no one answered. We left a message and sent an email. I called again the next morning and got someone who provided the correct information after several minutes. I had to suggest that they update the information in the condo for future visitors. On the positive side, the WiFi was super fast (200+ Gb/sec). We received an answer to the email sent the night before asking about the WiFi at 10:45 the following morning.
2) Several kitchen items could be improved:
a) A non-stick frying pan (there was a very shallow frying pan, that appeared to be non-stick, but wasn't).
b) A spatula. We had to make scrambled eggs with a wooden spoon.
c) (This is a bit picky) A lever-type corkscrew. There was a corkscrew, but you had to muscle the cork out.
3) Provide a comforter for both the queen and king-size beds. There was one thin blanket available, and we were cold the first night. We also used the queen-sized blanket for the king-sized bed the second night, and were warm, but if someone would have been staying in the queen bed, that would have been a problem.
4) Calibrate the thermostat. It reads about 5 degrees too high.
5) Put weather-stripping under the front door. The tile floor in the kitchen (across the family room!) was quite cold with the constant draft.
6) Install a flow restrictor in the shower head. The shower had a strong water flow, but it was wasteful.
Overall, it was a nice stay, but for what we paid, we expected more attention to detail.
