Good hotel for cheaper stay during University of Wisconsin football game weekend. Room less fancy but fine. There was no clothes rack (had been removed along with a light switch by the door). Breakfast continental with waffles the only hot portion.

The Madison Concourse Hotel and Governor's Club
Good, reasonably priced hotel, near the capital, walking distance to UW Madison. Staff always pleasant.

The Dylin by Mint House
Free parking right along the street, very easy to get in and out of the building. Great location (<10 mins walk from the capital). Apartment was very clean and tidy, also provided bathroom toiletries. Would stay again!

Lake Wisconsin Resort
The cabins looked small from the outside, but we're actually very spacious we didn't feel cramped everything was very clean there was a full kitchen a table big enough to sit at least four. I think the only thing that wasn't 100% perfect was the beds are a little small they were stiff and the pillows ...

Quietwater Cottage-On Water/Nature/Birds/Canoe/Hike/Relaxing/ Hot Tub, Peaceful!
Nice 4 person cottage by the river. Unfortunately, due to late season and dry weather the river was hard to navigate even in kayaks due to low water - not the fault of our hosts. The view was wonderful! The fire pit was perfect by the water and they even supplied wood. The only reason I would give ...
