Steps from the Mountain! Just 1 mile away with a crisp mountain view, our beautiful chalet is a mere 5 minute drive from the slopes of Windham and just 15 minutes from Hunter!



A short walk or drive from the charming town of Windham, you're perfectly located for a winter getaway. The town itself is a wonderful mountain community with many great shops, restaurants and activities all within a short drive. Or just relax by the fire or with a view of the mountain from the hot tub (hot tub only active in Winter).



Split level, 2 beautiful and sizeable living spaces - both with large smart TVs (with Netflix, Prime and more) and fireplaces (one real, one electric), 3 full bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms (one ensuite, one upstairs, one down), and a fully equipped kitchen - everything you need for a stress free vacation.



There is an additional pullout couch downstairs



When you arrive, we will make sure there is coffee and tea in the kitchen and if you have any special requests, simply let us know and we'll do what we can to make them happen.



There is a large garden that's just perfect to play some catch or build snowmen together with an unbridled view of the Windham ski area.



There is a washer and dryer on the premises (ask us if you want to use), one car garage and private driveway.



Furry Friends are welcome for an additional fee.



You will have access to the full chalet, garage and grounds. Please let us know if you wish to use the washer and/or dryer and we can arrange access to the utility room.



We will be available by email if you have any questions and our property manager near by for anything urgent.



The historic town of Windham is an all season getaway. Known as the 'Gem of the Catskills', Windham is filled with exceptional eateries, speciality shops and is just moments away from a fantastic amount of both winter and summer activities, and just a short drive away from some of the most charming Hamlets New York has to offer.



You have a huge variety of hikes available, though you will need a car if you're planning on going out of the town itself.

This is a lovely large warm home, close to the mountain and many restaurants. The living area is very welcoming and using the fireplace in a snow storm was wonderful The bedrooms are all a very nice size, lots of parking, our family also enjoyed the hot tub. Any questions I had the host go right back to us, hopefully we will return again.

Last minute getaway

I really enjoyed our stay at the chateau. Everything went smoothly and the place was well put together. There were a couple communication mishaps, but I think that was more related to the app than anything. Joseph was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the whole weekend. I have definitely noted this place for a return visit in the winter!

Great ski house for family

Clean and spacious. We have rented this previously and would again recommend this home for a large family or 2 families. Plenty of space to spread out. Well equiped kitchen for dinners at home. Stocked with the essentials and plenty of towels. Our host is friendly and responds promptly with any questions. Thank you for a perfect stay.

Perfect ski home for large family

We enjoyed this clean and spacious home for a perfect ski vacation. Located within minutes to Windham Mountain and the main street, it is set up in a quieter location with views of trails. We had full views of the NYE fireworks. We had everything we needed in the spacious kitchen and the kitchenette in the lower unit. Lots of light filled windows during the day and open main floor with towering wood burning fireplace makes easy conversering from the kitchen, dining table to living room. Bathroom were also stocked with plenty of towels and supplies. And the driveway, easily accommodated our 2 vehicles. Check in/check out with the owner was smooth. He was quick to respond to our questions. The highlight was easily the large hot tub out front. We will definitely be back
