Beautifully constructed 2019 new home on a property with gorgeous mountain range views and horse farm views. Large open floor plan with vaulted ceilings. Great views from entire downstairs living rm dining room and kitchen. Central A/C Grand floor to ceiling stone fireplace enjoyable from living room, kitchen, and dining room.Large kitchen island with chairs for casual dining, granite countertops throughout. All stainless steel appliances,filtered well water on refrigerator door, and all kitchen supplies included . One large king bedroom with spectacular master bath. A large queen bedroom with spacious bath . A bunk bedroom with a daybed pullout to accommodate 4 comfortably ,with a full bathroom off the bedroom. A beautiful spacious tv loft area overlooking the spectacular fireplace and open living room with a pullout queen size bed. A grand deck area with an elevated breathtaking view of a grand pond and horse farm with the serene Idyllic mountain range in the backdrop w fire pit and Adirondack chairs..

The property is a short 2 min drive into the center of town where you will find a wide selection of wonderful restaurants and shops. Ski Windham is a 5 minute drive and Hunter Mt ski area is a 15 min drive away. There are a wide selection of hiking trails for a winter hike or anytime hiking. There is a wonderful selection of golf courses all within minutes drive of the home. If your up for a Waterpark experience with the family ,the Zoom Flume Waterpark is a short 10 min drive,or you can take a short 25 min drive over to North Lake & South Lake for a kayak or canoe experience, or just lay on the beach with a beautiful mountain range surrounding you. There are many beautiful hiking trails with waterfall views and a spectacular 5 state view overlooking the Hudson River all within a 25 min drive of your relaxing mountain home away from home.

Fall foliage

The perfect fall getaway. Beautiful home with amazing mountain views. Conveniently close to Main Street and Windham Mountain ski area. Great communication throughout, and the house was wonderful. Highly recommend. We will be back!!

Great, Again!

We selected this house, in large part, because we stayed here before – a month in 2020. After that month, I gave the house a 5 rating. Four years later, the house is still a 5. Why? Check-In – easy instructions and well in advance. Location – Windham is a great town, and the house might be in the most peaceful and comfortable setting. The House – open space, high ceilings, air conditioning, spotless, and everything you need (from towels, toiletries, clean sheets to a fully stocked kitchen). The host – Ray is not just a great host (two times over) but is a super nice person. From the restaurant selections, the bottle of wine (a Brunello di Montalcino), the extra coffee mugs to putting us up in a hotel (a blackout knocked out power for some time), Ray was, and is, the consummate host. When you add it all up, we had a great two weeks and if there’s a third time, you know where we’ll be.

Beautiful home and lovely stay

Our friends absolutely loved this getaway from the city, the house was inviting and comfortable, the town was super charming, and we were a short drive from lots of hikes and outdoor adventure. The nearby waterfall was especially beautiful. The house had everything you needed. Would highly recommended this stay!

Perfect for A Fall Getaway!

This house was perfect for our family Fall getaway to see the changing of the leaves! The house is spacious, beautifully clean, very comfortable and cozy, and the views from the living room are incredible. It’s only 5 minutes from Windham and 20 from Hunter, which was very convenient for activities and meals. Ray was an amazing host as well! He was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We loved that he provided us with a long list of restaurants, grocery shopping, hiking and entertainment recommendations since we were not familiar with the area. We are already planning on coming back this winter and/or next Fall!

Friends & family reunion 2021

It was a great experience. There was plenty of room for my adult children and grandchildren. Having 3 full bathrooms was a blessing. We plan on doing this again in the future and hope this house is available. Ray made sure I had all the information I needed for check in and local sites in the area.

Stunning Mountain House!

This house is incredibly beautiful! It is larger than it appears, feels brand new, sparkling clean, and beautifully decorated. Ray was a fantastic host who not only provided prompt assistance when I had questions, but who gave so many wonderful recommendations for things to do and places to eat while in Windham. My friends and I enjoyed our stay immensely and I am already planning to go back!

A great place to stay in Windham

We spent a great month here! The view of the mountains and the night sky from the deck is breathtaking. The house looks even nicer in person than in the pictures. It gets lots of sunlight, is very spacious and nicely decorated. It is also in a well located and peaceful area and if you have small children, they will fall in love with the Vidbel Mountain Homestead, a farm which is just steps away from the house. We are really happy we chose this house for our stay in Windham and must say that Ray, who manages the property, went out of his way to assist us when we needed help. We can't wait to come back!

Relaxing cabin for Christmas

My extended family spent Christmas at the cabin, and it was a great location with a great host! The house was spacious and comfortable, including for our three kids under 3. The host shared some great tips for places in town, which was a short drive down the hill. Highly recommended!

Family weekend get-together in Catskill, NY

We had a great time at the house. The location was very nice, quite and beautiful. Check in process was very convenient. House amenities were good. Just a small suggestion, few things were not there like Bath soap, shampoo, kitchen hand soap, scrubber and hair dryer. There was leftover food in the microwave and the liquid hand soaps in the bathrooms was less and not re-filled. It would have helped if the list of amenities included or not included were mentioned in the property listing details . Overall Stay was very comfortable and rest everything was good.

Summer getaway

Beautiful new property, with great views and location. The house is only a few minutes from town and easy to get to. The openness of the first floor with the huge windows makes it feel huge. The deck is great as well, with a sitting space as well as an eating area. There is plenty of room outside for lawn games as well. The night sky is awesome to view from the deck. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Weekend!

We had a wonderful stay! This is an amazing house, beautiful views, peaceful and great location! It was very clean and comfortable. The owner went above and beyond in choice of material and furniture to make it upscale and pleasant and the communication was excellent! There is attention to detail to make it a very enjoyable place to stay. Highly Recommended! We are coming Back for sure! THANK YOU!

Perfect getaway

We loved staying at this beautiful home for our girls' getaway! Downtown Windham is super close along with some great hiking and waterfalls/swimming holes! The home was spotless and definitely brand new with all the kitchen necessitites, linens, fluffy towels, On the hottest weekend of the year, the home stayed cool despite having an alternate and unique cooling method! The owner ran out to grab multiple fans to keep the spot extra cool. So so sweet. We were so comfortable we cancelled dinner reservations, ordered pizza and hung out at the house. Thanks so much! We were so happy!

This home must have been just finished being built. It is absolutely beautiful. The owner is super responsive and so nice. The house is very short drive to Main Street, close to restaurants and activities. We loved this property and can't wait to go back.
