Garden room, central Winchester – self-contained, kitchenette & parking

A cosy, self-contained annexe with private entrance, just a 10-minute walk from Winchester High Street and the station. A short 150m from Oram’s Arbour park, it’s tucked away in a quiet, peaceful setting - an ideal base for exploring.

Perfect for couples, solo travellers or a small family. Includes a kitchenette, comfortable sofa/TV area, plus good Wi-Fi and a table, with patio doors opening onto our garden. Free permit parking if needed.

A travel cot and spare child’s mattress are available on request, making the space suitable for a small family. Laundry service is also available by prior arrangement.


THE SPACE

The annexe is set over two levels, linked by a small L-shaped staircase, offering a private, self-contained space where you can come and go as you please.

Upstairs is a cosy living/sleeping area with a large sofa, TV, and a table for dining or working remotely. Patio doors open directly onto the garden, with a small outdoor table - perfect for fresh air or relaxing outside.

Downstairs (garage level) is a compact kitchenette and shower room. The kitchenette includes a double portable electric hob, microwave, small oven, toaster, kettle, stovetop coffee maker and fridge - ideal for preparing simple meals or breakfast.

We provide basic toiletries and towels, along with a welcome supply of tea, coffee and milk.


POINTS TO NOTE

The shower room has an electric shower and toilet. Please note there is no sink in the bathroom; the sink is located in the kitchenette area.

There is slightly reduced head height downstairs in places (approx. 6'6"), as shown in the images.

The walk back from town is uphill through Oram’s Arbour park, but it’s generally easy and pleasant.


GUEST ACCESS

Accessed privately via a secure electric garage door from the rear lane, allowing you to come and go independently.
