"Room was lovely, just the right size. Staff welcoming & friendly, A lovely touch to get a free breakfast the following day. No issues with parking. Only 1 point to make, room was very hot so we should have asked for a fan (but it was 34 degrees outside!), so not even sure a fan would help!. Overall, would definitely return if we needed a night in Southampton again."

"I had a terrible experience in room 6. There was no staff in sight as at 07:30pm, I couldn't not access the property for an hour because the code was not correct, police came to make arrest from the property. A guest that came to get delivery then gave me a number to ring inside the house I was about leaving before someone rang me and sent me the code after one hour of standing outside. The room had no window, no fan, no hand-wash in the toilet I didn't find the bathroom easily either the...

"This is the worst place I have ever stayed in. The photos do not reflect the disrepair of the place. The photos of the room showed towels and when we arrived there were no towels. We were unable to take a shower before going out to our party. Very disappointing after a very warm day. When we got into bed one side of the bed was broken and I collapsed onto the floor. Do not book this place."

"I was the worst place I've been to. I could not get into the room. I took over an hour to before someone made contact but I still couldn't get into the room. The bathrooms were dirty and chairs were broken and the were empty bottles in the corridors. I would not recommend anyone stay here."

"Room is clean, staff is nice, the kitchen is clean. Therefore it was hard to check in when you first come, no sign, no number to contact because no office there. Should have a note to contact the landlord."

"The bedsheets were dirty with holes in them from cigarette burns and the smoke alarm was covered by a glove hanging on the ceiling Was told a cleaner would come out, but they never did. We did not stayed the night and had to find somewhere else."

"We had a fantastic time , Jenny is a prefect host. We arrived in the afternoon, used they pool and garden, then the next day she allowed us to use the pool again after check out time. Breakfast was delicious, the room was clean and cosy. It was a very hot day/night, she provided a fan and we managed to stay cool. Turns out she comes from my home town, so we had a lot to chat about. We just needed some peace and quiet to relax after a difficult week. Thank you Jenny for a wonderful stay."
