"We book the Majestic for one night as they had over 8+ on Expedia. Well, we arrived at reception. All went well until we were told the lift is out of action and being repaired. Which we later found out is the same story they have been telling guests for months. The very small room was embarrassing. A hole in the wall, electric socket not working, disgusting unwashed curtains, peeling paint everywhere, cracked sink, mould all over the shower head, broken wardrobe. The only plus was the bed...

"The townhouse was clean with three separate bedrooms and two baths. It was very near to high Street so it was an excellent location. One drawback was that it was very hot outside and only two fans were available for the bedrooms. Make sure that you have access to Wi-Fi to retrieve the check-in information ahead of time.
