This place was awesome! It was a little colder than we expected so we didn’t use the pool a lot, but the rest of the house was wonderful. We loved the extra living room with all the toys for the kids. With having 2 toddlers with us, it was nice that the main area had doors going to the bedrooms so we could confine them a little inside and the pool has a full fence so we didn’t have to worry about them accidentally going in the pool when we were outside. We also really appreciated having a fan in every room. The host was very accommodating and communicated in a very timely manner. We would definitely come back here!

Family Wedding

We had to meet in NC for a wedding and this property was perfect for our large family of all ages! The house had the perfect amount of shared space areas to visit along with enough bedrooms that everyone had their own private space. The outside had everything you would need to stay entertained in any weather (we were there in December so we didnt get to use the pool but the outside games and firepit were excellent substitutions.) Fred took care of any questions we had quickly and left us feeling very comfortable and welcomed. We would def stay here again!

Perfect holiday family gathering spot

We planned to gather with family for the holiday, and had several pretty specific needs for our group: minimal stairs/all on one level (nearly everything we found close to the beaches had a full flight of stairs to climb just to get into the unit, and the living spaces were spread over 2-3 floors!), minimum 4 sleeping rooms, 2 full bathrooms, a good kitchen for cooking (we would be there over the holiday).The "Private Paradise" DELIVERED. Impeccably clean, with 5 super-comfy bedrooms including 2 with en suite baths (including 1 walk-in shower for older mother-in-law), in an extremely quiet neighborhood, wonderful living spaces that enabled our group of 7 to really spread out and do puzzles, games (lots of them provided!), bake cookies, serve family meals at the table, and even take a quick 30-minute jaunt to Carolina Beach. Plus, only 15 minutes from Wilmington airport, so very easy travel in and out. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed for big meals and baking. Though it was too chilly for swimming while we were there, the back yard pool and small screened-in porch was so nice and private and would have been VERY enjoyable to hang out in!The hosts were extremely responsive before and during our stay. Whole family said they would be delighted to come back for another stay.

Family Wedding

We rented this house due to a family wedding in Wilmington. The house was great and accommodated our family very well. It was in a good location, clean, very well stocked, and provided space for everyone to be comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this house.

Great time with lots of space!

This was our first time using VRBO to book a rental. Check-in was super easy and the home was clean, inviting and cozy. We loved all the space for the kids including a 2nd living space with a sectional, large beanbag and walk-in closet full of books, games and toys for all ages. The yard was great! The kids loved the pool and we appreciated the ability to lock the gate to the pool to ensure the safety of the kids. We had a couple minor issues that the host handled immediately: The kids found some nails and shards of glass on the play area and the living room tv wasn't working properly. I informed the host of these issues the 1st night of our stay and he was there the next morning. He installed a new tv in the living room and did a thorough check of the play area and also added a thick layer of mulch for added protection. We really appreciated the quick response and action. He even left us a package of muffins to enjoy during our stay. We would definitely book with them again!

Amazing spot

The space was larger than expected . So much room for kids to go hang out and adults were able to hang out in separate spaces . The pool was heated , bedrooms comfy and spacious . And the host was very easy to reach .

Home Away from Home

This was our third time booking with the Regina’s and we can’t say enough about how pleased we are every time we stay. After this last trip we joke it has become our “home away from home”. The layout is perfect for our combined families (grandparents, two kids/spouses, and associated grandkids). Grandparents can turn it for bed early and not be disturbed by the sounds of the grandkids wreaking havoc late into the evening in the living room at the other end of the house. And the kitchen layout accommodates dinner for as many as 15 when our locally residing family members decide to join us. Close proximity to the beach and plenty to do for those days you just want to lounge around the house and relax. We always contemplate venturing out to try other rentals for future trips but routinely default back to this rental because it truly has everything we need! The homeowner has always been responsive and accommodating to all of our needs! Will likely book again for future trips!

Great Time!

Our family had a great time on our vacation. The home was very nice, inviting and wonderfully equipped for our 21 month old grandson. It was very convenient to walk out the back door and enjoy the saltwater pool. Our family would definitely recommend this home to our friends.

Wedding week retreat

This house was the perfect family retreat. We had a large crowd and a lot going on with our daughters wedding and there was room for everyone to have their own space but come together as well. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to book our next stay!

Great stay!

Our family had a wonderful time staying at this home in Wilmington. The home was very clean and had so much space for our family. The back pool and yard area were fabulous. We had one very warm sunny weather day by the pool which was amazing. The heated pool made the pool swimmable for the kids on a cooler day. The home is located in a good neighborhood that is centrally located in Wilmington for easy access to everything! We highly recommend this home!

Wonderful

Amazing place to stay. I wish we had booked it for longer. We had an issue with no hot water and the hosts sent someone immediately to fix it so there was no interruption to our stay. The pool and all amenities were so wonderful. The house is so large and was able to easily accommodate 2 families. There are 2 separate living rooms which made relaxing and playing games easy. There are 2 different hammocks along with a fire pit area and tree house with play equipment outside. 10/10 recommend. I will book again but stay longer for sure.

Excellent Location For a Large Group

Our stay at Your Own Private Paradise was excellent. The house accommodated a large party comfortably and had great amenities. Location of the property was excellent, about equal distance to the beach or downtown Wilmington. It was out of the main stream of town in a quite suburban neighborhood. Check in and out were simple and easy. The owner walked us through everything and was responsive to our questions.

Christmas Vacay

Wonderful!!! The two children positively loved the backyard and the Spider-Man bedroom. The house was very accommodating: comfortable, clean & neat, amply furnished and functional. Using Roku was challenging.
