3 BR House, 2 Blocks To Beach, Nice Backyard For Grilling

3 bedroom house with 2.5 baths. 2 short blocks to one of the best beaches on the east coast and 2 blocks from Sunset Lake. The house is nestled in a residential area with many full year residents. Therefore, out of consideration for my neighbors, I need to point out that loud behavior and noise outside after 9:30 pm will not be tolerated. Off street parking for 2 cars. Large backyard with shower and both gas and charcoal grills, a great place to leave sandy beach chairs and eat outside. Master BR (King bed), BR 2 (Queen bed). BR 3 has one Queen & two twins in bunk configuration (Check photo to ensure it is acceptable to your needs). Towels and sheets are NOT provided. Smoking outside only. House is clean and comfortable, not fancy. Cable TV in living room. Smart TV in master bedroom. WiFi. Dining room seats 8 (2 at the counter bar). 10 minutes to the town of Cape May. 20 blocks to the Wildwood boardwalk. Many restaurants and bike / beach equipment and jet ski rentals within easy walking distance. The Roman Catholic Church is only 2 blocks away.

We had a wonderful stay at this very comfortable property. The walk to the beach was very easy, especially with little children along. We enjoyed a family dinner in the spacious kitchen/dining room and the kids were outside at the picnic table. Would not hesitate spending time here in the future.

Perfect location

This house is located a short walk to the beach and the bay. This was perfect for our family. There is a large open living space on the first floor. The backyard has gas and charcoal grills. We cooked on the BBQs a couple of nights. We all had a great time! We all had a great time.

Great location and layout

This house had plenty of room for us and the layout worked well for our family. Having a porch was great. We could walk to the bay or the ocean easily. We would rent here again. The only negative was the propane grill was quite dirty and we chose not to use it. (We also forgot to pack toilet paper- just a tip for those who may not rent frequently.)

We had a great time during our stay. David was very responsive to all the questions I had. The house is in a great location. We have 7 people in our party and had more than enough room at the house. We will definitely stay there again!!

Great stay for families

The house is a short 2 blocks from the beach. The best feature for our family is the backyard with grills. There are both gas and charcoal grills available. We had a great time cooking dinner together in the yard. The neighborhood is quiet and family friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Just like it was described. Nice location to the beach. It was more than enough room for our family of 5. Enjoyed it very much! David was very responsive to a couple of questions I had. I would most likely considered renting from David again next year.

Two Thumbs Up

This place was perfect. Only a couple of short blocks to the beach. I think they undersold the amenities. We were pleasantly surprised to see all new appliances...electric stove, DW, Micro, coffee maker, etc. and the upstairs washer/dryer was definitely a plus. Very comfortable open floor plan with kitchen, dining room and living room with large TV. Owner communicated well and was very accommodating. Beds were comfortable, and 2 1/2 baths worked well for 5 adults. If you read the listing, it tells you to bring your own sheets and towels, and we would rather do that anyway. Reasonably priced. Two thumbs up.

Comfortable and Enjoyable

Nice neighborhood ,close to beach. Comfortable stay in spacious duplex. Two major issues were resolved quickly and to our satisfaction. Our host was extremely attentive to our needs. Washer and dryer was a very grateful amenity. The home and back yard are in need of a deep cleaning at the end of each season in my opinion. Otherwise, satisfactory.

Wildwood Dismay

I walked up to the property looked and it looked fine. Went to go up stairs and almost fell due to a loose railing. I Walked in tripped on the living room rug which was elevated 1/2 inch off the floor with padding. Walked to pantry and was greeted with the garbage and recycle buckets along with mop buckets a wire rack with assorted articles on it. I would say this was a utility closet not pantry. Went out side to a hand railing that was totally unsafe. Come inside, sit on chair and the front wheels fall off. Open the refrigerator door and the light don’t work. I Head upstairs to a loose hand rail. A hot bunk room due to the A/c vent blowing into the side of bed and under it. Down the hall to a Dryer that didn’t work. To make along story short the other items are Pots and Pans with cooked on food, Door bell inoperable, master shower door leaks water onto floor, oven door doesn’t shut causing fire alarm to keep going off, but here is a note on how to cut off the electricity to it. Bar-B-Que unusable, completely rusted out, along with a greasy caked scraper. I would also suggest that when leaving a dishwashing sponge don’t leave a used dirty one. So in closing I will say my stay was pretty bad, and I wouldn’t recommend this house to anyone with all the safety and cleanliness issues along with the inoperable items. I will also have to give consideration to using your app again. My main regret is I didn’t photograph any of the issues but then I was mainly focused on trying to show my kids and grandkids a good time. It was more like Wildwood Dismay more than Wildwood Days like they advertise!

A beach house that checks all the boxes

This was a family trip planned with good friends to spend some nice, relaxing time at the shore with our children. We couldn't be more happy with our experience. The house was clean, cozy and had all the amenities needed from a cast iron pan for cooking to an outdoor shower for rinsing off from beach days. The layout was spacious, furniture was comfortable and the street was quiet which was definitely appreciated. We were absolutely thrilled with the location! Only a couple short walks to the beach and within walking distance to the park, boardwalk and places to eat. David was super responsive to any questions we had which added to the ease of being on vacation. We hope to return!

Quaint spacious house, great locaiton.

Property was all it was advertised to be. While it was a touch dated the house was bigger than it looked in the pictures. Location was great too - we enjoyed the short walk to the beach with our mound of kids toys in tow. The neighborhood was quiet. Owner was great with communication and we had no issues.
