Rustic, Multi Level Condo

Lodgepole Lower is a multi-level 3-bedroom, 2 and a half bath condo with approximately 1200 square feet of living space and a maximum occupancy of ten guests.

The living area features a cathedral ceiling with ceiling fan, large rock fireplace, log furnishings and 32” flat screen TV with DVD player.

The fully-equipped kitchen opens to the living area and includes a large log table with seating for six. Just off the kitchen and living area is a half bath with a washer and dryer.

The private deck off the living room includes a gas grill and outstanding views of the mountain.

Both lower-floor bedrooms have a queen bed, and a set of bunk beds which are separated by a wall divide. One of the bedrooms also has a 20" TV. These bedrooms share the unit's only full bath. A spiral staircase connects the two lower bedrooms to the main living area and kitchen.

The third bedroom, located on the third-floor loft level area has a king bed and a three-quarter bath.

Guests of Lodgepole enjoy exclusive access to our Sherpa Complex outdoor hot tub, a special amenity shared by only select Whitefish Mountain Resort properties.

Note to summer travelers: This property does not have air conditioning. While warm in the day, nights cool off significantly in the Montana mountains. We suggest keeping your windows open at night to let the cool mountain air in, and then closing them first thing in the morning, along with any blinds, to keep your property cool throughout the day.

Amenities were ok. It is dated but very clean and warm. Almost too warm... hard to control temp in the condo. Most windows don't open. Kitchen is missing some things, frying pans are old and well used. Lots of bowls, plates and glasses. Very cramped kitchen. It's like they found a huge table and just plunked it in the kitchen. Only one person can cook as there just isn't room for any more people to function. Only one parking spot, so be prepared to take a long walk from the Larch parking lot to get back to the condo. This is probably the biggest dissapointment.

Worked great. Family of 10

Property was clean, plenty of kitchen items for meals for 10. Bedroom set up perfect for my parents (3rd floor) my family and my sisters family downstairs with bunks tucked in the back. It was a bit noisy for those downstairs when people were upstairs walking around or using the water but I used earplugs and was good! Small but efficient use of space. We walked to the lift and the pool and hot tub so location was great.

The parking is far for second car. Sometimes you don’t find easily. The condition of the unit was very bad too much big dining table and it is stinking and sticky all over. We have dust allergy and the pillow cases and the sofa are leaving the dust so much that we all ended up taking 2 tables of Claritin. Trust me the water from the kitchen looks very dirty and we ended up using bottle water everywhere including brushing. The sync in the bottom Bathroom has a hole and rust. The door nobs came out when we pulled the door lock. There is only one fan which rotates and the beds make lot of sound and the space to open a suitcase is difficult in the room. The TV didn’t work at all. But that made us to talk and have fun instead of watching TV. The place is really rustic. May be that is what expected and so they call it is rustic.

Be careful!

This property looks just like the pictures. However, what it doesn’t tell you is that the only way to get from downstairs to upstairs is if you walk around the spiral staircase. This is difficult for seniors and with luggage. The other problem was that there were 10 of us and the hot water heater never lasted long enough.

Great family roadtrip stop

Great location at Whitefish resort! We were trying to book near Glacier and booked to late. 45 minutes to West Glacier was easy. This place was great and we got lucky that in the heatwave that came through we were able to use the lower bedrooms to sleep. There is no A/C but the fans in the lower bedrooms did great.

everything you could ask for in the middle of the village.

Nice and clean. Great gas BBQ on deck. Located right behind The Kandahar Lodge. Pick the perfect line and you can ski right onto the deck! Short walk to the ski lifts in the morning or to the Hellroaring for dinner. Check out the Bierstube for a good time.
