Mountain Chalet Minutes From Town

Beautiful 2 story, timber framed home on 2 sweeping acres with a partially fenced yard that's great for dogs. The yard itself is hard to leave with a fire pit, kids play set and forest to explore.
Inside, past the entryway is a mudroom/ laundry room then kids room with two loft beds and a tub/shower bathroom across the hall. The master bedroom has a king bed and a shower bathroom with a sliding door to access the deck and fenced portion of the yard.
Upstairs is a spacious open floor with kitchen, dining and living room. There's also an outside deck with BBQ that overlooks the yard.
There is awesome single track for biking, hiking and cross country skiing into Haskill Basin just across the street. This is nestled within minutes of downtown Whitefish, Whitefish Lake and Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort.
40 minutes to Glacier park and about 30 minutes from Glacier International Airport. This home is a great basecamp for Glacier Park excursions, resort or backcountry skiing, x country skiing, biking, fishing and hunting. It's also a great spot to relax, hike some local trails and check out the festivities in town!

Serendipity in Montana

We had a wonderful time staying at the property! It’s location was great for Whitefish and it felt very private. We enjoyed the fire pit and outdoor seating as well as the lovely living room with amazing windows and lounge chairs. The mattress on the bed was the only part that felt like it needed a freshening up for the future. It sort of rolled you towards the center and was clearly a bit long in the tooth. Ultimately, a great location and one that we’d enjoy staying at again in the future.

Very enjoyable stay!

We stayed for a week while exploring the Whitefish and Glacier area. The cabin is in a great wooded area with lots of wildlife. It was perfect for us and our dog. We really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful property !!

We stayed at this property for an entire week and enjoyed every minute. The house has everything needed and the fenced backyard is enormous. The area in the trees is so quiet and we had an excellent view of the meteor shower! There are cool trails right behind the house for running or hiking that connect to the Whitefish Trail system. It’s a short trip down to town or out to the Whitefish Mountain Resort. Wish we could have stayed for a month! The property owners were super helpful and responsive. Very recommended!

Great location and fun place to stay

Super cute and cozy place. Loads of interesting books to read. Everything a family needs for a comfortable stay. Excellent location and yard. Ben was amazingly helpful. Would recommend.

Great weekend getaway in the mountains.

We very seldom get a chance to getaway on a vacation and take our 2 dogs and really feel like they are welcomed. This lovely cabin in the woods outside of Whitefish was not only quiet and peaceful for us, but it was the perfect vacation for our dogs as well. They had so much fun at the cabin and in the area of Whitefish. We will definitely come back again.

Beautiful Home, Happily Situated

This house was clean and beautiful. It had a beautiful interior and backyard for the dog and kids. The owners were kind enough to leave restaurant recommendations and everything was fantastic. Would highly recommend.
